Vogue Paris December 2008/January 2009 : Stéphanie de Monaco by Mert & Marcus

Stephanie looks good, still got the athletic physique I remember her for.

I do find I judge the Dec-Jan issue much more harshly than most issues, because it's guest-edited and has to last two months, so I expect something special - especially when you have other Vogues creating showcase editorials or entire themes for their December issues, and then their January issues come out. Ne soyez pas paresseux, Paris Vogue.

Stephanie does indeed look good. That's why I just can't wait for her editorials, especially the one shot by Mario Testino, I loved the two pics that BerlinRocks posted in the preview.

awesome shapes!

thank you Alien Sex Friend

stunning!

I don't like the cover but is ok I don't dislike it either, But Stephanie's eds seems better (more Givenchy :woot:), Love Milla's:blush: ed can't wait to see the other images, Suvi looks great, and Iris's ed looked very MarcJacobish at fist glance not liking it.

imho the cast of this issue is very random, not many of the VP darlings appear:blink:, I mean some new blood is good but the other girls are signature VP...

as for the Calendar I thought I would dislike it more but it's nice, classic pin-up..maybe that's my problem I was expecting something like "the new sexy" from Carine. Lakshmi and Georgina looks best imo

Now I have a question for the experts (maybe a stupid one^_^) ¿How do you guys think VP sales and Ad pages are lately? Because with all the hype surrounding the VP team and VP itself maybe sales or ad pages are up?. Or I'm too naive:blush: and the fascination for the VP team isn't that big in France as in other places and therefore there's no such impact in sales or ad pages?

And thanks BerlinR and Diorette for the scans

Despite everyone's comments I loved Erin Heatherton shot in the calendar and the magazine, I am definitely going to get this months issue.

Berlin thanks so much for the en vogue scans, they are gorgeous! My favourite pages of Paris Vogue always. Glad Geraldine is back doing it - didn't like last month's by Benjamin. And taylork thanks for id of the unknown model in it.

So in love with calendar, definitely have to get this, Anna J and Anna S look just too cute.

Oh My! Stéphanie is such an elegant and classy person! Love the cover so much !

wow, love the vintage vibe in milla's ed(the shape..the shoulder!!and the model...)...peter lindbergh always devotes his best work to vogue paris...
so...f**k me with more scans....

^ thanks for posting :flower:
It's perfect for this cover imo.. I'm looking forward to getting this issue.

love the cover, editorials are just okay for me. i'm usually not impressed by terry's work and this calendar is no exception.

The calender is surprisingly good to me (I hatehate Richardson), Jourdan and Georgina's shots are outstanding.

For the contents I only feel Suvi's is really nice

Thank Berlin and Diorette as always :flower:

strong cover, even without eye contact. i like it and i love how they made that versace dress look much more interesting than it really is. the calendar's cover is nice too, but the calendar itself not so much, which is a disappointment because i generally like terry's work for vogue paris... but this, i don't know... i think the styling could have worked through the lens of someone like juergen teller, maybe...i don't know why i thought of him, but he was the first photographer that came to my mind when i was trying to imagine a better version of this calendar...
anyway, thank you so much Diorette and BerlinRocks for the scans and previews.
i don't like the beauty ed, i don't think suvi suits vogue paris, at all. cou de force looks very good though, and so does sims's ed (sims + iris + sauvé? it just couldn't be bad). what's making me most excited about this issue is peter lindbergh's ed though, i'm in LOVE with the styling and milla suits it perfectly.
