Vogue Paris June/July 2017 : Gisele Bündchen by Mario Testino

one word: OBSESSED.

I think it will do well on the newsstands. It creates the question, who is that? But then you are like, oh well of course; it could not be anyone else other than Gisele.

I don't think she is that recognisable to be honest... could be anyone...

what's the point of having Gisele if you can't even tell who that is.

i don't like it, the white text just ruin everything

i'm not touching this magazine until they get rid of that yucky font they've been using!

as for the cover picture, couldn't care less. looks like wallpaper or something.

Love the cover... despite that awful font...
Can't wait for the content !

True!! As if the font is not bad enough, they still underline it! I'm sure this cover will only appeal to those lacking in any form of discernment and proper taste. I will still get this though, purely as a way of showing my support for Barbieri. Anxiously awaiting the editorial.

cover could be really great if only they didn't go overboard with the littering

If there wasn't any text on the cover, or at least as little as possible (like Vogue Italia) it could have been a nice cover.

Now it's just not working. At least Gisele is not recognizable.

Until I see a full-sized cover with a barcode on it, I'm not yet a believer that this IS the final product.

But I'm certainly all for an experimental summer cover - I really liked the concept of their Jun-Jul 2014 image, with Natasha Poly in the swimming pool, showing a split-perspective of above and below water.

What an interesting cover. The composition works well and I love the colours.

I love this cover already. I bet if the shot was another image showing Gisele on the beach everyone would have complained anyway. I love how different this looks

as a Gisele fan what I love about it is that Gisele's never had a cover like that, she's always been the center of the photo, I like the color, her pose and all, I only don't like the text styling, when I first saw it I thought it was inside page of the magazine and not the actual cover. Despite VOGUE is written in a yellow color that's way more shining than white color, text gets more attentions, cuz it's just too much in one place, if they printed text on two/three different places, it wouldn't catch eye that much.

maybe they should've split the text and print it on the right and left side between Gisele and Vogue

The cover is the only graphic, visually-interesting, even daring and creative element of this entire issue.

The accompanying edit is so… forgettable— and annoying with the inclusion of behind-the-scene outtakes and extra frames (with the Sharp-filter making it even more annoying): Bright jeweltones in Demna’s Balenciaga aesthetic on a predictably clean and graphic, circa-1983 set. Nice but also Zzzzzzzz…. Gisele brings nothing to the shoot.

The other edits with Edita and Kris are equally forgettable. Looked through it once and have no desire to flip through it again.

Deeply fascinated by what could be lurking in Hedi's edit. Wouldn't it be funny if he had to shoot some of Vaccarello's YSL? I love the guy, but just...
