As things stand, I think I'm going to skip this issue, I would say everything I've seen so far is average bordering on bad. VP was going so well up until this point in my opinion and I've brought the last few issues. I was poised to get this when I heard the news Kate and George were going to be on the cover. It's just not what I imagined, I expected something far more classic and not forgettable. I thought it would have been shot within a studio. How I was wrong, I'm trying hard to like it but I just can't, suppose it's a bit funny when looking at it again and some dodgy photoshopping is clearly evident. Only thing I do like is the dress Kate is wearing. Other than that I will see what the November and December/January issues have to offer or maybe I've spoke to soon but judging on the review it's... Yes you've guessed it the SAME old models used. Yes they deliver but there are others out there who can do it just as good. Shake things up please!

^I agree with you. I was expecting a rock star kind of image. White background, Kate dressed in a very Alt way. Wind in the hair, smiles...Iconic!
But this is quite forgettable...the review is not bad, but it could have been way stronger. Last issue was way better.

Aside from that I look forward to the issue, as I do with Vogue Paris, each month. Doutzen, Iselin and Laetitia should contribute something to their stories. And the C'est Vogue section has a hold over me, so I anticipate that too. Thanks for the review, Thefrenchy.

All Paris Vogue threads are simply turning into a bash Emmanuelle thread, there seems to be no other point for them. It's starting to make uncomfortable reading.

It's possible to discuss the merits or demerits of an issue without bringing up the competence of the editor in general, it may seem hard to believe for some of you, but that is not a truth universally accepted that people think of her as a bad editor. Thinking the cover is awful (I do) doesn't have to equal "Emmanuelle should to be fired". People have made their point a million times, it be would be good to come this thread and for once just read everyone's opinions about this month's magazine.

Even though I still dont get why George Michael is there and we've seen Kate in this type of styling a million times, I still think she looks fab in everything, that Balmain embroidered coat is bananas and love the white Pucci gown is pure sexiness
