Vogue Paris September 2009 : Lara Stone By Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott

At first, it was hard to shake the Natalie Portman look that the make up brought (and this is not a good thing, IMO)....but all in all, it is most reminiscent of Ingrid Bergman (demure, pure, yet alluring and sensual).

Are They Doin Family Reunion With Lara?
Homegirl Is Always Doin Vogue Paris Lol

Did they photoshop her eyes blue on the cover, or is that just me?
Its a stunning shot, very demure and the makeup is beautiful, but I feel like its downgraded with the odd text placement and colors. There is something off about this but I don't know what it is ...

WOW!!! Lara looks so beautiful!!! love her make up looks so good on her, i love the photography and i love it that it wasn't photoshopped to death. i think, IMO, this outshines last year's Sept. cover. :)

If you only knew my dear lol
They photoshop the hell out of models now its crazy
take sasha for example you barely recognize her in her ads

Lara is simply iconic - this is proved just once more with this cover -_-

I fancy her with this darker colour. Makes her look more.. uhm, respectable.

Model-wise, its a very sort of classic issue. Even tho Im really rootin for some of the new girls, it seems to fit cover + theme of this issue. Cant wait for scans

She looks like Natalie Portman in that shot
What a stunning cover, and the review looks great!

Thanks dear!
There's no big surprise... i'm a bit annoyed. Happy that there's Anna and Sasha.

Nice to see McLellan shooting for VP, he has been doing tons of Vogue work lately. Thanks so much for the review Laetitia. :flower:
