I've spent all weekend debating whether I should get this sweater or not. I've always loved it and intended to buy it once it's on sale. And now it is on sale but it's still kind of expensive (206.50$, was 295$)

It's always a matter of cost per way. If you think you'll get a lot of wear out of it and think the sweater is versatile enough to be worn with a bunch of different outfits, go for it.

Thanks everyone. I'm still unsure. I don't mind spending 200+$ on a sweater if I know the quality's good, but I don't know anything about the brand (VPL) other than that all of their stuff is quite expensive.

Considering I have just one old ugly sweater in my closet at the moment (how did I even get through this cold winter without any sweaters or cardigans? ) I'd definitely get a lot of wear out of it. And I've had this one in my shopbop s for about 4 months, so I think I should just go for it.

yay- i like the sweater. It's interesting and different but basic enough that you can wear it a lot. Maybe check what it's made of but really, if you like it a lot and considering how everything is generally a rip off these days, $200 for something you'll wear over 20 times for sure, it's a pretty good buy. YOu'll probably wear it so much you'll wonder how you ever lived without it.

I just ordered the sweater. I was to scared it would sell out if I waited any longer. Now I'm so happy I did it. Can't wait to receive it.
