Thanks ladies I agree actually. I LOVE the shape, but the colour is just not me and I was kidding myself thinking otherwise. I'll just keep searching until I find them in the right colour. Thanks! :)

i cant help but love this dress, but is it a yay or a nay?

topshop clogs?

Sandals in Post #1440... love the color, hate the sandals. You could just haphazardly strap together several strands of seaweed that look better than those sandals. Big Nay! Resist the urge to get those. Leave them on the shelf, don't click "Buy," resist the urge! If they do warrant your attention, pour Holy Water on those ugly sandals. That'll teach those abominations a lesson.

Dress in Post #1446... are you kidding me? Absolute Yay! Unless it costs too much or isn't available in your size, get that dress! LOT of love for it.

Sandals in Post #1448... those sandals need some Holy Water doused on them too, but not as much. It's a (moderate) Nay! from me. I would have liked them if they were a proper pair of clogs or mules. I'm not really in love with those.

Big Nay green sandals, absolute yay dress, and moderate nay high-heel sandals. Dress and shop with confidence!

My first post :O

Hello ;)

I am sitting and deciding whether I should wear this dress for our graduation party in two weeks - is it glamourous enough?

And the back..

It retails for 90 dollars

Welcome to tFS, NinaOlesen! Before Moderators tell you this, please credit your images. Now on to the dress.

My inclination is to say "absolute yay" to this dress because it looks fantastic. That is... until I saw the extremely dramatic rear of the dress. The thing that sets me off sometime is something looks a bit too risqué or too daring. I think a dress like this one is a bit on that risqué, but also a bit semi-formal.

So therefore, no "absolute yay," but Big Yay! Just remember to credit your images next time.

:D Thank you John and welcome to tFS Nina!
It's a yay from me too

Should I keep this or return it ?

The material is linen, it's somewhat transparent (eg one needs something underneat..or just be indifferent to its tranparency).

I like the color, dark aubergine - less harse than a black, the material (linen) is comfortable when the weather hopefully gets hotter
and I definately have stuff in my wardrobe to pair it with..
I think it is rather versatile (beach, casual, informal party w. the right accessories)
.. but my hubbys comment that 'it's something your mother would wear' and - 'it's a style for women without shape' left me wondering..

Also been eyeing this Diana von Furstenberg layered gold metallic racerback tank top with white bottom layer
(the gold is not as dull as pictured - not that beigey gold - but more a true yellow gold)
