This season is frustrating for a variety of reasons. I am happy to see so many great photographers, though. I'll just have to keep telling myself that when girls like Liz get heaps of praise.

I don't see what's SO wrong with Liz, tho. She's not at all my favorite, but she has clear skin, good bone structure, and a recognizable look. If one took polaroids of her, without knowing her personality, and saw them on models.com, people would be excited about her. She's like a softer Omahyra Mota.
One thing with this show is we see these girls' personalities. They are small-town girls, some ignorant, living together in a house for weeks at a time. They all turn annoying after a while. Throw Anna Selezneva, Jac, Frida, Abbey Lee, etc when they were just starting out and you will get the same reaction. We never got to see their personalities, we just made assumptions on how they are based off of photos and the occasional small interview. With ANTM, on the other hand, well... we see it all.

Yeah I agree about Liz, she is ok to me. She is more modelesque than Kayla.. and definitely more model than Chris.

Kayla and Chris are the worst in the group IMO. They just don't look like models at all to me. Liz doesn't either but she's not as bad.
Jane and Chelsey are the only ones left that have potential.
Ann has the look, but has zero confidence.

This is such a stilted cycle - it's really terrible. It's worst than Cycle 14. At least there was more entertainment thanks to Angelea to shadow the poor editing.

I disagree about it being worse than C14, C14 had one of the worst casts ever.
This cycle has had alot of great girls with potential (even though the majority of them were eliminated already) and great guest appearences by major people in the industry.
But I feel this show should be more about COACHING the girls and TEACHING them how to model instead of expecting them to know everything and do it perfect. This is why the girls with the most potential struggle in terms of personality and confidence because they haven't gotten any coaching, while the girls that had no potential but have outrageous personalities do well in everything even though they don't even look like models.
Really, if your going based on true potential, the final 5 should have been Anamaria, Rhianna, Kendal, Jane, and Chelsey.
My main complaint about this cycle is how predictable it is. They make it obvious within the first 10-20 seconds of the episode who is going home. Every single episode this cycle within the first 20 seconds I have guessed who was going home and have been right.

I'm troubled by the fact that she gets so many "commercial" comments. I just don't see it. She can't catch a break though, judges always find something so they don't have to give her the first callout.
Poor Ann. I felt so bad for her, but at the same time, I couldn't stop laughing. The whole thing was just so ridiculous.
Final three have to be Chelsey, Ann and Jane. Although Chris makes me laugh so I won't mind if she's there (so long as it's not at the cost of Jane).

Yeah I don't get the whole commercial thing either. Yes she could do commercial with her look, but I don't think her look is "just commercial". She's not any more commercial, than say, Natasha Poly. Or Kasia Struss.

that fall that ann had... it was so bad. i felt so bad for her... but girl really needs to polish up on her walk! don't they have a runway in the house for these girls to practice? i wonder if they just don't show it... but i can see why her confidence is so low though...
girl is a scyscraper and thin (today i noticed how narrow her body was and couln't stop thinking how great she would look in a huge gown!!) and she's 18? we all know kids can be mean...

That would make the best final 3 ever! Jane/Chelsey final two though, then I will be happy with whoever wins. I hope Kayla goes home next! She's so annoying, and so are her fans. (SEE: RTVGames) I'm tired of her saying she's a lesbian and she slept in a sleeping bag blah blah blah like every episode. Plus she's too short and looks generic.
I can't believe Tyra praising Chris for that commercial... actually.. yes I can.
I like chris and her personality, but she's NOT a model! I want the judges to realize that! I was very pleased that Jane did so well in the commercial. I loved Esther's face but really she has been so lackluster throughout the competition.. you can't fault the judges for keeping Chris longer than Esther, b/c although Chris doesn't really look like a typical model, she has been delivering in the competition. Personally I would pick Esther over Chris but it would have been difficult for the judges to eliminate her this week.
If i had to pick though, I would have said ciao to Liz... Liz is just lucky she has a "get out of jail" card (ie her daughter/welfare SOB story)
My picks for the upcoming eliminations.. (which def. wont' be the actual list since things never turn out how i want them to lol..)
6. Chris.. cute/nice personality but not a model. She should be happy to even make it to the international phase, I never thought she'd make it this far. Good for her though, but yeah its time to go.
5. Liz.. she has a nice look but, she hasn't delivered the goods consistently and she is looking more and more like an actress each week.
4. Kayla.. very consistent but.. she looks like a country singer or something, and even with her blonde her she... just isn't that pretty.
3. Ann.. unique I admit, and she looks great with her hair pulled back, but she is just too awkward, i can't imagine her as a covergirl
2. Chelsea.. she is a good model overall, but she seems like a stock model, the kind of girl who gets signed to B-list agencies and does B-list jobs. She doesn't scream star to me.

i'm sad about ann being in the bottom 2 but i still hope she will win!
especially after the z spoke show, her and chelsey were the only ones with great bodies. and maybe liz too

I have a fear that Jane might be leaving us next episode (or in the top 5) ;(. Usually when Tyra pulls out the "no personality" crap that girl only lasts one or two more episodes. That's what happened with Katarzyna, Brittany (c.13), and to some other girls as well. I can see Ann landing in the bottom 2 again, this time with Jane, and getting saved.
This is all so frustating because to me Jane was the only one (aside from Chris) that actually showed a lot of personality in her commercial. Also, when she gets some screentime her comments are always fun to listen to, she seens like a very sweet girl. For Tyra being likeable means being obnoxious and loud.
I like Chelsey. But she looks old tbh.
