kayla is like walking ratings for the show, every single episode she cries, mentions that she is a poor lesbian, that she slept in a sleeping bag all her life, that she was raped at the age of 11... etc etc

Because people watch top model to see girls crying every week? I don't think so... Those are the girls that are the most annoying.

I'm not a Kayla fan at all but I also don't think she's being kept on for ratings because, quite frankly, I don't think she's very interesting to watch.

I don't think the shot of Jane is indicative of her going home... maybe a lousy shoot... or makeup in the eye?? I do think she'll be bottom two though... I just can't bear the thought of her leaving before Chris... ugh. seriously.

i think chris should be the first one off, she doesnt have photos that are all the great and she doesnt look like a model compared to the rest.

Yoanna was good, but I can't get fully on board with her because she beat out some more deserving girls, like April and SHANDI!

I don't think Jane is getting eliminate this week though (hope I'm not proven wrong). Her picture is really not bad, not the best but not the worst either. She's really improved and been doing great lately and I suspect she'll do well at the go-sees. Plus, if she's eliminated it'd be really difficult for to win, don't you think?

I'd have to disagree. This version of Top Model is a reality show first and a model competition second. Backstories are exploited and drama (and tears) are needed for ratings.

I prefer Mollie Sue to Danielle, but of the final two I would definitely have given it to Danielle.

My faces for that Cycle were Shandi, April, and Mercedes. However, I think Yoanna's face was best suited for that beauty campaign with Sephora.

Adrienne was the winner of Cycle 1. Elyse so should have taken the top prize for the first cycle.

wow first time i'm in this thread for this season, good to see everyone excited about it. I guess the high fashion thing appealed to tFS.

of course i'm on the Jane bandwagon, the second i saw her i thought of Natasha and Magdalena

the ads show her "breaking down" which makes you think she's going home, but what they've been doing with the show lately is not cutting the obvious, so i think she'll be safe this week. hopefully

I find it difficult to eliminate any of the girls left because they seem to have a lot to offer.

Chris - I didn't like her at first, but she grew on me, and she's so full of life. However, I think she would do better as an actress than a model, but her Demarchlier's photographs were beautiful.

Kayla - She's a model in front of the camera, but her proportions are weird, and I think it's sad, but her edit makes me think she's whiny, although going through all the things she did, I bet she's a heck of a lot stronger. Her pictures has been consistent, and she scrubs up pretty well, and she stands out because of her red hair.

Ann- I've been rooting for her since the first episode, and I think she could potentially be a good editorial model. Her walk is not terrible, it's just passable, but hey, Katie Foggarty's got a terrible walk and she booked everything. I want her to win, but I could see her eliminated in a double elimination if it ever comes around.

Jane - Her preview pictures were meh, and I thought she's a filler girl, but she's so beautiful in person, that she's gonna be a model if she pursues it anyways. However, her photos has been good, but there were some bad ones, so she's a gamble, although clearly, she's a favourite to win.

Chelsey - I liked her before, but as weeks go by, she seems to be insecure, and always pits herself against Ann. She's got good fashion knowledge, but anyone could be well versed if one just snoops around TFS for a day.Her pictures have been good, but not spectacular, but she's got the best runway walk, so who knows.

Anyways, I think what I'm trying to say is that each girl has something that has made them stayed this far. But what I'm hoping for is that whoever wins, IMG pushes them hard enough, and the girl must have the drive to succeed. I don't want another Yoanna scenario, where she's signed with them, but basically ends up doing nothing, not even test shots, and only hosting.

Plus, that girl has to want to move to NYC straight away, because like Nicole Fox said, the agency can't do anything for you if you're not in town. I also hope that whoever wins gets a decent set of test shots, on top of the prizes, and basically goes for castings and such. So fingers crossed, and let's wait for the runways of F/W 2011.

Jane's the only one left I would love to see win this competition and prize. I have a feeling she'll do well at the go-sees and Kyle Hagler would like her so I think she'll be safe. And if she makes it to next week, I'm pretty sure Franca would like her as well, so that would seal the deal. Previews can be so misleading but I have to admit, I am worried for her at the same time because Nigel can be such a douche who somehow manages to influence the judges with his stupid comments (I don't know how), as if he has any right to act the way he always does! "Noted" fashion photographer, yeah right.
