^ apparently! People on twitter said that they saw it on google, yahoo, and wikipedia. I don't know if it's 100 % true but that's what the word on the street is.

That does seem to be the prevalent theory at this point, but it's just not adding up for me.

For one, if Angelea did reveal the final three (or whatever it is she spilled) where were all these people when it actually happened? I was just reading some of the comments at rtvworld, people there are crazy obsessed with ANTM, and nobody saw or said they saw the alleged spoiler back then. Now we have all these folks saying they apparently saw it back then. Where are the screencaps of what she said? I know it could've been taken down, but there are plenty of ways to dig it up.

For two, even if that is the reason for her disqualification, it doesn't necessarily mean that she won it initially. I just can't in honest truth imagine the judges/covergirl/VI/express/etc picking her as the winner. Just no. Lisa is older and can look her age at times, but Angelea photographs/looks ancient compared to Lisa. Her skin is horrific. And her performance on the show, including last night, was shaky, to say the least. With all that, how can you pick her as the winner?

For three, I wouldn't be surprised if this was all pre-planned and Tyra just wanted to cause a stir with the finale. Which she did. Or am I giving Tyra too much credit here?

I also agree about Angelea. I liked her but just HOW ON EARTH would she have won? Seriously? And yes, Lisa is old, but I don't think anyone expects her to actually DO any modeling at this point. I think she will just become a 'personality.'

Angelea's tweets after the episode where Dom was eliminated took a dramatic turn. She went to cockiness overdrive. I did see the tweets (that she deleted) that basically gave herself away as the winner. About two to three weeks ago her tweets turned quite bitter.

The threads are RTV Games are like Swiss cheese. They keep getting locked and cleaned. I have no doubt this information was once there but has since been deleted. You can find her tweets in the spoiler discussion thread at TWoP. Here is a link.

I gotta say, Lisa isn't my favorite contestant on this cycle but she clearly was the best all-around. If they're looking for character, music, spokesperson, then she clearly has it all. She's not the prettiest or most model-esque but it doesn't seem like this cycle was about that. Even when it was down to Allison and Lisa, I still wanted Lisa to win even though I absolutely love Allison.

I was rooting for Allison. Lisa looks almost older than my mother in she is in her forty's. I was shocked about Angelea but if the rumers are true this judges must be high to pick her. I know that they favour her all the time but this america's next TOP model not America's next charity case model.

I think you could argue that this show has never picked the top model on any cycle, I am not sure why they should be expected to start.

If this was planned, which I doubt, then it was a brilliant publicity move. This show has been trending ever since this was announced. All this publicity can only be good for a show that was loosing viewers.

If it was not planned, which I suspect, I hope the judges have learned to stop picking volatile people. There is no way Angelea should have been the initial winner based on her behavior.

Considering that the theme for Cycle 18 is Americans versus the Brits (from past seasons of BNTM), I doubt it.

I don't disagree with Lisa winning on principle, she's one of the most memorable personalities in the show's history, but she lost both the photogenicity and general crazy/endearing personality she had in C5 this cycle. She was like an overly confident robot and her photos flopped. Surprised also given that she had a bad relationship with Tyra post-C5...

Don't judge me but I actually took a LOT of my time to write out who should've made it to the finals & who imo should've won from ALL the current & previous seasons for the complete list check out the, "why is the american version of top model so bad" thread on page 5.. tell me what u guys think / agree / wanna add, whatever

Also, I thought Allison looked spectacular in that dress & that hair she should've won instead of old looking Lisa but tbh, there wasn't many "models" to chose from this season:rolleyes;

technically Allison was in 3rd place but moved up a spot. That's gotta suck to go to reshoots and you're still not the winner.

^ Allison did look like a total goddess in the final judging, I was in love for a second there . I had a feeling she was destined for runner-up place again though.

I believe that Lisa bad-mouthed Tyra and the whole elimination process in many of her post-show interviews. In particular saying that Nicole was pre-selected to win and that she was actually told that she did the best on the shoot where she got eliminated, and the others girls were given re-shoots/more takes because they were lacking in comparison.

I must say I was beyond jealous when I saw that Dusan was photographing them. He's one of my favorites and I was definitely green with envy (also wish they would've showed more of that).

And as far as Angelea goes, if the rumers are true (that she leaked that she's the winner) I wouldn't be surprised but I am having a hard time believing that she would win because she's always crying about something and I think she's too sensitive for this kinda work. You gotta be tough and not take things personally or too seriously and she appears to be doing exactly that.
