What do you think of them tops that are tight over the breast then go really baggy?

I like them my partner thinks they looks like maternity wear.

I can't pull them of (because of being too thin for it), but I like them on the ones who can. Combined with a straight leg jeans, it looks comfortable and relaxt.

Think: A lot of (straight) man don't understand fashion. Often, a simple t-shirt and jeans are trendy enough. ;)

yeah theyre selling those styles of tops in loads of colours at places like topshop its like theyre becoming the new standard t-shirt (for now anyways). They're good for the comfort factor. :)

I love them. They are basic, but in a new way. It's less boring than just wearing the same old white or black tank top..

Baggy T's are the best!

TNF, if you're really thin they look even better (I think). Thin people pull them off better 'cause the oversized-ness doesn't make them look fat ... hehe.

 elle

Do you mean sorta like this, Dee_Bird? But maybe a little shorter?

At the bottom... But on top, they are tight. That will emphasize my too skinny shoulder area (and too small breasts for that kind of tops). Not a good look.

Blouses - not too large, not too tight and a little bit waisted - suit me better.

yeah, it's empire-waist, no?.
I have a few, they're uber-comfortable.

^ yes in a way, but usually the 'hems' have stiched in elastic of ribbon to create a baggy / buffant effect

love them personally and i think those look good on most body sizes
they are very popular over here, hot trend (but i dont wear them myself)

I love empire cuts but almost every guy I know doesn't get them (Okay, discount the guys here at TFs). They say the same thing - "Isn't that for pregnant women?":doh:

that's beautiful, i love long tops recently! do you think a guy would be able to pull off one that long though?

I love them. They are the few items of clothing women can have that are sexy without being overt.

I have a black baby doll/empire top that I love
Looks so comfortable yet very chic, especially if worn with a cardigan on top.

If you're talking about empire-waist/babydoll tops, they can be pretty if the waist part is straight/slightly fitted, but the really loose ones just tend to make people look pregnant, imo.

if you mean babydoll tops i think they're horrific and make one look pregnant.
if you mean tshirts then i don't. though i don't think baggy tops should ever be particularly tight over the breasts :ninja:

i think someone needs to post pics so we know what we're talking about, eh?
