"Carrot" Jeans

I tried the Acne Hug which has this silhuette, and I didn't like them at all. They looked like 501's that I could get at the thrift shop for $10. I do like the silhuette very much, but think that only the really thin females can get away with it. The skinny/drainpipe bottoms can be worn with different body types, but this look can't facilitate any curves or it just looks dumpy and weird.

BTW, I love susie's purple pants!!!!

i find these style works better as 'dress' pants... well, at least for me... the denim doesn't do it for me

i love these. i had some Acne hug (fletch) which looked slightly carrot style in a size too big for me and they looked great. unfortunately they got stolen out of my car 2 weeks after they had been sent to me from sweden, i miss them so much! very tempted to buy another pair...

I just wanted to post something for the first time

I think that trend is more likely to be worn by rather slim people, and im personally happy about it, cause i loved that style. What shoes do you suggest to wear with them? Are the open toe flats ok?

...Im not sure about this, I'm sure it can be pulled off, but the pictures as seen aren't the best.

I can definitely see the japanse influence, ive seen a lot of pictures of Jap. guys in them.

last year i've been looking around to find some carrot pants and when reading this japanese magazine i ran into this guy, whoms pants pictured what i was looking for. to give people an idea how carrot pants can be worn, i quickly and badly scanned the picture

i got the pants, though if anyone knows a good (japanese) brand..
