I've enjoyed looking at the past 10 or so pages. Sometimes I'm a bit impressed, other times - totally not.

But I do appreciate her style. She really has some nice pieces.
 
I really like the outfit she wore to the wedding, and the jacket is great.

This might be a silly question, but is it customary for the British royals to wear hats to weddings? I'm always so impressed with the designs they come up with, they are fantastic. Are the hats a British/English thing? They're so stylish and individualized, I :heart: them!

I do too, I found this thread a few pages ago, and now I'm trying to go back and start reading/looking from page 1. I think her sense of style has definitley evolved though. Seems she has found a few colors and cuts that work for her. I do have to applaud her make up though, she keeps it minimal and basic. I love that about her, there's not a big fuss about the make up, she's found her look.
 
Yeah she has great legs but that's about it. I don't appreciate her style (which is non-existent) nor do I think she has a clue about what flatters her and what doesn't. If she did, she would wear things that showcase her legs more and be on trend without being 'trendy'. She clearly has a body that looks good in a variety of outfits and yet she constantly chooses things that emphasize her 'boy' shape. I have no issues with this shape and don't mind embracing it once a week or so, but she almost always seems to make her shoulders look broader and her hips narrower. I think she dresses quite bizarrely to be honest. It's like Jigsaw threw up on her or something. As for her grooming, well I mean she has nice hair. It's not that I think she never gets it right, I enjoy the fascinator she wore to the wedding, but I really think she's clueless.

That's really the whole issue, isn't it? Everytime I see her she seems to be wearing what she thinks others will approve of. A safe choice...

Her looks are never bad, just predictable and commercial for someone in her position who is on the verge of something great. Maybe once she gets engaged the fashoin magazines will take her under their wing like they always seem to do in these cases...some editor/creative director will name her as a muse no doubt and then some metamorphosis will occur.
 
ohh i hope so. i would love to see her some really great name brand pieces.

I can see that happening. I'm ok with what she wears now, but I do think she has A LOT of potential. I think her choices do represent where she is in her life right now- she is out to have a good time and not be taken too seriously. I think once the engagement is announced, her style will slowly changed to be more polished and elegant. i want to see her in clean cut and tailored pieces, I think she would look great in those.

I disagree. You could say that about Chelsy, but certainly not about Kate.
It is very obvious she is trying hard as hell to fit a certain image and to be taken seriously by the social class she is trying to break into. There is no candour about her style. The only time she seemed to have a little fun with her wardrobe was during her brief split with William.

Meg, I agree completely. But have you seen what she wore at the Garter thing? I thought that was a flattering outfit for once (minus the hideous hat, but hey...). It even gave her a bum and some hint of a hip line.
 
The dress looks like it has potential but the jacket colour ruins it and those shoes are ugly, they remind me of what a sixty year old would wear. Why can't she invest in some nice shoes!?

she does look pretty here, but the outfit is terrible, imo. Even the jacket, which is OK but too tight. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I prefer one-pieces for weddings, especially a wedding as classy & understated as Lady Rose's.

Kate really does have great legs though. Geez. Great legs, great hair, great smile. She is so cute when she dresses "down" like at the recent polo match (the navy sweater, jeans, cap). And she looks good in a very simple but pretty day dress with flat shoes. But I think Lady Rose's wedding is an example of her trying too hard. Keep it simple, Kate. :p
 
Why does everyone keep saying the jacket is too tight? She doesn't have anything for it to cling to, I think if there were bulges or things popping out it would look too tight, but she doesn't have anything, not even hips.

I lean toward thinking it's Kate because of the face, or what face we can see, but the body seems a lot like Pippa, and the face could belong to Pippa, but I'm very uncertain. I need feedback. :huh:

^Yeah, really, I do think it's Kate, and am close to sure, but then sometimes they wear each other's clothes and trade accessories, and their bodies are so similar, and Pippa is usually tanned like in that pic.

It's defintely Kate. You can tell by the watch and rings she's wearing and also the heart key chain she carried around. Here's another picture from that day, you can see her lips and nose. I'm positive it's her.
