Chanel Haute Couture F/W 11.12 Paris

It all seems a bit too 'trademark' chanel and I cant believe Im saying this but its in need of some new ideas...

I am loving most of the dresses. They look wonderful, especially royalty blue worn by Sasha, and white long dress that she was also wearing^_^

I don't know what to say. The show is spectacular as always, the décor and the general atmosphere are beautiful.
No doubt that Karl is a great designer, the details are beautiful. But I don't know, it kind of leaves me indifferent. I don't like the shapes and I found only a few dresses really beautiful.
Not my favorite Chanel show.

These are the dresses I really like:

Beautiful as always...
But, as you guys have said, it's getting to repetitive! Also, I don't necessarily appreciate that most of the pieced shown had the Dior shape...it's just NOT for CHANEL!

The set looks mind-blowing by the way!!!

I find it too messy. And I don't like this pear shaped look.

I LIKE IT,its mature yet at the same time I can see upper east side girls wearing them

overall, it's not that bad, but I agree with those that said they're still waiting for a little bit more of...something
I don't know if it is style.it (because sometimes they stretch the images) but some of the first 30 or so looks appear to be so bulky
I guess I'm just not in love with the shapes that he created for this, but some of the gowns are very beautiful and definitely redcarpet ready

It is a lovely collection of clothes, I was often distracted by the boots.

It's as if Karl took the RTW collection and added a somber mood to it. All in all this bores me

The silhouettes are very nice and structured, but somehow except for a few gowns it doesn't look very couture to me. Though I must admit that it would enhance and empower any woman. It's a bit too classical!

As usual, seeing the collection in motion from the videos and the details in HQ raises my opinion dramatically! ^_^

It is a nice collection, not great. I have to admit that in the last few HC collections I've been struggling to differentiate between HC and RTW.

I think the dresses will make any young person age by a decade. they seem so old fashion.

other than that, it's typical Chanel/Karl, nothing new. i'm sure quality is impeccable though, which the clients will love.

what is this sh!t?

Coco would turn in her grave FFS.

this is so utterly, unappealingly late 80s/90s, the cut, the shoulder pads. Karl might say one thing about the hat and the lace in front of their eyes, but to me it looks like Boy George.

and now i got Karma Chameleon stuck in my head.

DAMN YOU KARL

I feel like I've seen this many times. I don't like this collection, despite the fact it's very wearable.
