Yes, I emailed them when I saw the "available" on the website, but it usually takes them about 4-5 days to respond back so we'll see what they say Theres only a week left in Feb anyways, but I'm an instant gratification sort of gal

i understand ur pain.. hehee, i was all panicky after i entered the CC no. n the time difference only adds to that. but after i received the tracking no, i checked it almost every hr to see where my baby is....

That's odd since i pre-ordered mine from Neiman's and no box!!! But my lock is pristine. Go figure!

My pre-order Whiskey came in its own box, but when I extravagantly ordered the Tan Shoulder and Brown Hobo cuz I couldn't wait for the pre-order they were both tossed in a box like yesterday's garbage I can't believe all these FAB bags are just sitting in some warehouse, naked(!), waiting to get picked and packed...

UHG! Did anyone see the March Instyle on page 249? Why would they put a imitation Chloe Paddington as one of the springs new trends? I personally find it irresponsible promoting fakes. tsk tsk The bag is called Worthington and it's faux leather available at JCPenny

I am annoyed at LVR. I placed an order 3 weeks ago for a whisky paddington.
I got the confirmation email that they received my order etc. So I check my cc statment online shortly after and saw that they were holding the amount and waiting for the charge to go thru. I checked again later that week to see if it has gone thru. The hold was release and there was no charge. What the heck does that mean?? I then proceeded to email LVR 3 times and still no response. Does this mean they cancel my order without letting me know?
That is just unprofessional!

Has anybody experience this with them?

Womanolo - the screws on the padlock of my first generation show too, no covers over them as on the metal plate screws. Maybe that would be a good way to tell a fake!

Wow - that's really cool. Can we see the rest of the piccy? (I know nothing to do with Paddy's, but anyway).

I have been going over my new Paddy with a fine toothcomb - not in case it's fake but just looking at it in the flesh instead of through a lens like for the last year. Where the leather joins on the padlock the four corners are screwed down but the screw heads aren't covered like on the metal plates. Is this normal? Would looking at the back of the padlock be a good way of telling a fake - eg if you e-mailed an e-Bay seller and asked for more photos?

I would not worry about it, the "authorization hold" will disappear; however, they have access to your funds for 30 days from the day you "swiped" your card. They will charge you either 1 - when it ships (or) 2 - before 30 days is up so that they can send you the bag when it is available.

My friend order the anthracite paddy from LVR received a shipping confirmation email from them today, so I guess she will be getting it soon.

Well, just a few inches of snow from last report.

The Bowler might look smaller/shorter due to the shape, but it is deeper than the regular Paddington. It holds all of my items (long wallet, bulky cell phone case, brush, checkbook) easily. The only drawback is the outside back pocket is shorter than the satchel, so if you use that pocket a lot you might find it a drawback on the Bowler style. Also, the leather tab on the end of the zipper can't be placed between the lock and plate (unless it is removed from the zipper altogether). It distorts the whole shape of the bag.

I ordered the anthra and I received the notice today. A few days ago instead of preorder it said "available" so they must have gotten some in. Of course, emailed them and today they got back to me saying the didnt know what bag I was talking about I did see the whiskey come back up for preorder maybe a week ago? Hopefully they'll get enough
