Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

I ordered the anthra and I received the notice today. A few days ago instead of preorder it said "available" so they must have gotten some in. Of course, emailed them and today they got back to me saying the didnt know what bag I was talking about I did see the whiskey come back up for preorder maybe a week ago? Hopefully they'll get enough

I guess I'll wait another 2-3 weeks and see if I get a shipping email or a response from them. I am not a very patient person when it come to purses LOL!
My friend was told the anthra is really the noir(dark gray) from somebody at LVR. I hope they are correct about the coloring because she doesnt want the metallic gray as we know anthra or else she will have to return the bag.

I think I'm all set with Paddingtons for right now, but never say never! I'd love another Bowler. It is seriously cute!

For all of you out there on this thread...if you own a mini paddy...please check to see if your zippers have ykk on it and if there is a serial number in the inside pocket of your mini and, please let us know!!!

Especially if anyone out here owns a mini from the ss05 collection. I'd really appreciate it.

Gawd, this is so insane that I should be worrying about receiving a fake paddy from an authorized chloe store!!!

Somewhere WWAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY back in this thread, the topic of the zipper being marked "YKK" came up. I think it was decided that it was irrelevant on the authenticity of the bag - - as some bags had it and some didn't and the bags were authentic, purchased from reputable places. I think since it's just a zipper (that isn't actually manufactured by Chloe), it reallly doesn't deem the bag authentic or not.

But they did have pics of the noir. I figured it was worth taking the risk to see if it really is the anthracite.

I have tried to sell an 05 brand new tan paddy on Ebay for over 3 months and no takers! I guess there's so much fakery that people are reluctant to bite even though I have perfect feedback. Im just wondering at this stage if I should keep it as a collector's item anyway. Shame for it to sit in the cupboard going unused but I never intended to keep it, just sell it on, so I would feel guilty about using it!

So, I guess Ebay is perhaps your last resort, but real ones do pop up!!

Oh boy! Sounds like there may be some unhappy people if its not the right color. I wonder if they will pick up the return shipping cost if the color turns out to be incorrect? It adds up between custom cost and shipping if its the wrong color. Yikes!

Izze did you girls know there's a Purse Forum? You can't actually list your bag for sale on there but can mention you have one you'd like to get rid of. There seem to be a lot of people wanting auth Paddingtons and don't want to use ebay for fear of fakes. Might be worth checking out?

If I didn't already have a tan I'd get either of yours! It's true - ebay is not so great for authentic bags. You take a hit as there are too many fakes that people would rather buy I wish ebay would really crack down. They try but they can't be familiar with every brand of bag I guess. I know they are much stricter with LV now than they were at the beginning.

How confusing!! My friend has her heart set on the noir and she interrogated the SA she spoke to and the SA swore up and down that anthra was dark gray shown in the last picture on the bottom. We will find out soon enough. As for me, I'll have to wait and see if whisky is coming my way or not. I already have a back up bag in mind if the paddy doesnt work out LOL!

Mine shipped this AM out of London - Last time I ordered from NAP I had it next business day; so, I am crossing my fingers for another DHL miracle.

I hope the anthracite is everything you hoped it would be. I think I will take her out with me this weekend, she likes to go shopping since no one else in CO (that I have seen, or my SA at nordies has seen) has one.

No, no wallet. I'm too indecisive. Hopefully my bag will be the one I want. Otherwise the hunts back on! It has an arrival date of tomorrow but it'll probably be held up since I'll need to fax whatever info fedex requires. Wish I could get the papers now but its impossible to get a live person when calling fedex

I think they will be like Balenciaga, continue to be hot because of the great leather and style. They will come out with different colors the will keep us interested.

ok, so i have two of the normal paddingtons, one in tan and one is the new off-white colour, should i get another normal paddington or should i get the zippy? i really can't make my mind up! what do you guys think? thanks:-)

depends on how much you love the satchel. if you like it better than the zippy then by all means, get another one. don't get the zippy just to get something different. i know women who get multiples of the same exact bag (same color, everything), they love it so much. it's only crazy if you don't truly love it.

I prefer the original satchel. It's a classic. Zippy is very cute and if you want something different then why not. I love my new Bowler; it's nice to have another style, especially if you go for the Zippy in the same color as one of your satchels.

hi amy,.. IMO, i would get a zippy since i've a sachel. i don't have much $$ but if i were to spend, i would definately invest in the zippy. i'm just not the type to spend another AUD2k+ on a same design.
