Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

A different view than the one up a few posts (medium noir is held on bottom left, large is on bottom right). Just let me know...guest is still out and it is pouring rain outside...I won't be going anywhere for a little while...

Oh wow, thanks for the explanation, I didn't realize they were different the different bags in those two views, it's amazing how pictures can be deceiving, when the two bags are side by side sitting on the step, they look like completely different colors, then in seperate pictures side by side, they look the same!

Lilygirl -- yep, it's the same color as my hobo. Definitely Blanc not Craie. It just looks so much more vibrant b/c of the texture of the leather that I had to double check

I also have to agree that I prefer the paddy over the hobo too -- even though I love my whiskey hobo (primarily the leather), the lock really bugs me b/c it does sit right on top of the bag. I've tried to pull the leather tab through the metal loop and then attach the lock but it hung too low and everytime I would set it down on a counter, I'd hear "smack!" the lock would just hit it.

Also the side pockets are kinda useless as the opening is so small and then the bottom is so much wider. I keep my little boys brush in there and sometimes squeeze my keys but other than that, I have no idea what you call could put in those pockets. Although, I am glad they are there as they really give the bag a "pop" in looks.

SoCal -- I am totally SPEECHLESS OVER HERE. Girl -- I love all those bags. I am of no help whatsoever, except I am not very crazy about the whiskey tote. Dunno -- too square-ish for me, not enough "bling" or something.....can't put finger on it. I used to be on the hunt for that bag, majorly, but over time I grew to not like it as much.

I really the pocket paddy. I mean, really, really!!

SoCal: I happened to have my black Bowler with me today so I just looked at my tag (which I keep in the pocket, lol) and it does indeed say Noir. My bag is from 05. When the 06 bags came in, I remember a NM S/A showing me what was called "the new black" and it was like a faded black. That bag was called Noir also... and then we have the color that Roey has, which has a lot of blue to it, and is also called Noir (which is probably the one you have, I can't tell if there's blue in it or not). OI!

P.S. - I haven't posted my pic over here yet but I got my Taupe medium Zippy today! I'm iffy on the color but LOVE the style. I'm glad to hear you like the color though.

So you bought from Henri B as well? The guy said the paddy tote is sold like crazy.I like Ivory anyway so I am happy.I cancelled my preorder in BG since I can't hang over there waiting till May...

And in case anyone is wondering, it costs $120 to ship the bag back to Italy

Yes, yes it is The damn package weighs almost 6 lbs, which is why its so much. Well, it would have "only" been $50 but it would have taken 2-3 weeks transit time and no insurance was available.

don't care much for the shopping- somehow, it lacks the ooomp or something.

this one is right out of the box -- notice the wrapped lock, BUT there were still scratches on it. I honestly don't care about it though the leather makes up for the lock. It also isn't "that" bad.

mammab, you lucked out on this one. gorgeous leather!

socal, wow. in general, i don't prefer the paddington in black -- the color just doesn't highlight the leather. with that said, of the 3 black bags i think i like the medium zippy best (i am not fond of the washed out black of the large zippy and i see the pocket satchel working better in any color other than black). i do not like the tote at all -- there's just too much leather which makes it blah.
