I believe that Zippy on LVR is supposed to be Mousse and they got the hardware wrong. On that site (as well as on MJ, etc), they photograph the same bag but photoshop the color on. If you look closely at each color in the same style, they are in the exact same position with consistent details. So the color representations on LVR are probably off. Anyway, I believe they "painted" on the Mousse color but didn't change the lock to silver.

You're so right Daisy!! Thanks for pointing that out, it's such a shame, that blue looked amazing with the gold lock.

Okay, here's one of her in the car with my Black Bowler but this pic is making it look a little on the fleshy side... I will try to take better pics this weekend.

OH wow oh wow oh wow, they look amazing together Daisy! Although I do prefer the satchel, the bowler is something different and looks fabulous there, I say keep it Daisy!! ;)

kiptrip - congrats :woot: can't wait to see the pic. =) i hear there's 2 or 3 sizes, which did u get?

Chic Chick, aww thanks but it still hasn't shipped. Arrgh patience patience!! Two sizes? For the satchel? I got the normal size, the mini is adorable with how oversized the padlock looks on it, but I really need a large bag to chuck all my stuff into! Hahaha.

LVR was a fabulous experience for me as well. My bag arrived in perfect condition and beautifully wrapped like a gift. It shipped the day after I ordered with no complications. The only thing I'm still unsure about is the duty that I will eventually be charged by FedEx? I'm told it's around 10% of the cost of the item... is that correct? I may be due for a shocker because the amount I was charged on my credit card thus far is WAY below U.S. retail (I knew it would be lower but this is quite a bit!), and even with the othe 10% extra I'm still getting a steal. I'm afraid something has gone wrong!

hey chloe gals..i have what i hope is not too silly of a question:

the lock and key that comes on the paddington bags: is each lock and key unique, or would my friend's key open my bag?

ohh.. :woot: it has two small compartments?? i'm gonna have a look at some pics nw n pay attention for once in my life.. hehee.. my eyes focused on the centre pocket n got me hooked!

I am not sure if my earlier comment was clear...the zippy has two compartments (top compartment opens under the lock, and second compartment opens through the bottom zippers)...the pocket paddy has one large central compartment (opens under lock, the smaller front pocket opens under a snap). Pics are of pocket paddy. The center compartment fits quite a bit of "stuff"...

angel-i'm not an expert, but from what i've read so far, each lock and key are not unique. also wondering, are the locks and keys unique to each season or are they all interchangeable as well?

socal aka paddy goddess--the pocket is just FAB!!! :woot:

Someone fill me in on what the craie is like? Are they really rare? What leather thing are you talking about mademoiselle? I haven't received mine yet as it's still on pre-order!

craie is a to die for color. it is differnt in eavery light. its not light light liught cream but tryue craem, it is a bi darker inside the house with a lamp on but outside the real sunlight its lighter and seems like theres a little hint of soft pink very nice. it makes the hardware pop! the loop thingie is where the lock's hoop is attached on. ohhmy guys, my mom is cming back on the 22nd from what i heard:woot: I cant wait to take pictures and show you!!!

I am assuming its the leather from this season?? The tag reads "blanc" Was Craie a more of darker color and was the color "craie" typed on the tag for color or is Blanc just a general term for color? I'm going to have to compare it to my blanc hobo from this season which is upstairs in its bag. Will get back.

I remember seeing a white satchel at my local nordstroms here and I wasn't impressed w/it at all. It looked very "flat" and "matte" and no pebbly grain to it. Also my blanc hobo upstairs has that same kinda "blah" feel to it -- no pebble action happening on it and just very dull looking.

This one is definitely soft and squish-able and well, I hope I captured all that in the photos because I think I got really lucky :)

your bag is lovely! yes craie is darker than the one you have posted. yuore lucky to get a pebbly soft leather for this season:flower:

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh i love your flesh color bowler paddington! what color is that?!?!?!

hi! im new to thie forum. i just got my own baby paddington and my first reaction was to look for more! i feel horrible! Could anyone give advice on where i could get a wine paddy? thanks! =)

I think the wine (grenat?) was re-released for s/s but only in the baby paddy, for a reg satchel the best bet is ebay

man! ive had horrible experiences with ebay. I got my baby paddington in the bleu claire colour, do you think the wine is a nice compliment? thanks for the expert advice!

Both of my LVR experiences have been excellent. When I got my paddy from them, I got a call from Fed. Ex. and they faxed me a form to fill out for customs and fax back, which I did. Then, a few weeks later, I got a bill for the duty. When my Edith from LVR came this week - it just arrived - no phone call from Fed. Ex., no form to fill out and I could tell it hadn't been opened by customs or anyone because the box was wrapped in brown paper with LVR tape. ????????? Maybe LVR has changed their shippping procedures. It'll be interesting to see if I get a bill for duty on the Edith. Anyway - including shipping, duty, everything, I figured the paddy cost me right under $1200. and the Edith around $900. (or, if I pay duty, a little under $1000.) I'm happy!

Once you've filled out the initial paperwork with fedex you don't have to do it again /w subsequent orders

socal.. u're such a devil.. i'm so tempted to spend max my CC on the pocket now. mayb in a few mths when i've enough saved...

anyway.. here's a pic i found a 'chloe-inspired' fr Zu shoe stores in Australia. hehee.. :p :flower:

Socal, is the pocket heavier than the paddy?
