Chloe Paddington Bags (February 2005 - March 2010)

This happened on my white stella and I took it in to a reputable shoe repair shop and they re-dyed the edges and I swear, whatever they used has lasted a helluva lot longer than the original dye.

wow, it's good to know that color problems can be solved.
i remember showing Nodstrom one of my purses that has kind of gotten old from use and because they carried the line, they told me that i could leave the bag with them and they will have it restored. i was on vacation then and didn't have much time left to leave the bag. maybe this summer.

I never knew they could actually do that. I'll definatly see if I can find a shop that will do this.

Just have to say "ahhhhh" what a relief it is!

So you guys have heard all about my Blanc "issues" The leather being so friggin flat looking, etc. Well, I just can't get over how LUCKY I was to get the paddy of BG's website with the most amazing distressing. I was just sitting here on the pc and happened to look over at my paddy and it looked so, so, so beautiful that I ran and got my camera and took pictures.

By the way, I have in my car, the 3 blanc hobos that are being returned. I can't believe how horrid the leather is on them. Every-single-one. Flat, Blah, and the hardware, all those little studs -- they are like a deep dark green color! Not like the hardware on my blanc paddy which is a beautiful deep brownish golden color.

The whole experience was a pain to go through -- ordering from all over the place, waiting....waiting....and waiting....but after all of the hassels, I have finally found my one and only true love.

Oh and one thing y'all may find 'weird' is that since I am w/child, I happen to carry diapers, sippy cups, toys and then all my stuff so I figured out to unbuckle the side straps, twist the leather straps around and tuck them under the handles so when I open up the bag.....VOILA....everything is right there. Just love it. Love it!!

OMG !! NO Tampon happening here, BUT . . .

I just took the stuffing out of my "new" whiskey paddy I ordered off of BG's website and I got a DISCOUNT !! Of a whole $0.25 !! The previous owner left behind a quarter a few eyelashes.

Man, I can NOT believe how they suck at quality control. But nonetheless, I love it and am keeping it. I regretted letting my first one go, so I guess this is what I get.

Here's the picture of it "as is" when I took the stuffing out.

Does the quarter belong to anyone here?

What a discount! The whiskey paddy I ordered from BG was also used - but it was so used the color had worn off the side seams on both sides of the bag! I once bought a NWT bag from ebay and the prior owner had left her credit card in the pocket (I kept the bag also)!

Fed ex called today and left a message! My paddy is in the US! I've been waiting since January for it from LVR. And I'm gonna be away for the next week Oh well, I've waited this long, what's a few more days <sigh>....

I've had my baby-blue for about three weeks now and I am falling more and more in love with it. It's great with a denim jacket, or formal black suit, or just about anything in between. It is such a lovely chunky size and colour. I keep getting compliments. My favourite two so far were an awed 'I love your bag' from my hairdresser and a whispered 'where did you get your bag' from the girl at the local supermarket checkout (my hubby was with me at the time which made this really awkward!).
