Omg, so I used Apple Leather Care on my tan baby paddy.. and it worked GREAT!! This stuff is like magic! haha.. The leather is even softer than before. There was a small amount of surface dirt and it even took that off! I haven't used the rain/stain garde yet though... Is it okay to get that spray on the hardware?!? I mean obvisouly I would take the lock off, but still... The bottle of leather care says that it makes the bag water repellent too.. Should I even bother using the apple garde??

Also, I can't stop carrying my new baby I now want a wallet to match! Does anyone know where they sell Chloe wallets? somewhere where I won't have to pay duties preferably.. thanks!! I checked at Nordstrom but they only had handbags.. no wallets!

regarding the apple garde, i dont know wheter to get one for my craie pddie or not since it is an untreated bag and i dont know if its good to spray some chemical on my bag when its perfectly nice....i dont know if i should leave it natural or treated =S

I want the cute wallet with the cute little padlock in the middle! but they dont seem to make craie or cream or blanc right?

has anyuone seen the blanc and craie side by side IRL, i wonder if its a big difference..

I think the blanc has a bit more yellow/creme in it. The craie had just a touch of pink. Pics of craie hobo and blanc zippy...but difficult to distinguish in photos...

madem0iselle- i agree. chloe really needs to stop with the paddington. the original satchel and hobo were enough. but it's starting to go a bit overboard. and many of the new bags have too much going on with them for my taste...

SoCal -- Both are so gorgeous I love these cream shades on the paddington.

I haven't had problems keeping mine clean except for the piping. The color rubs off on the piping and unneath theres a suede like leather that darkens pretty much instantly and is impossible to clean. This is mostly on the side that is hidden aganist my body but it's still annoying. Has anyone else noticed this?

I agree; I like only the original satchel and the bowler. The other designs don't make me want to spend the money, but they sure look good on other people! I'd like to round out my collection with one more Bowler (the traditional Bowler, not the Zippy Bowler) and move on to other bags!

This happened on my white stella and I took it in to a reputable shoe repair shop and they re-dyed the edges and I swear, whatever they used has lasted a helluva lot longer than the original dye.

How did you get the Craie Hobo??

Ahh...that is a "return regret"...I purchased the N/S craie hobo from Nordstrom Seattle last fall...used it once for about 2 hours and experienced demin dye transfer, so returned it... I cannot tolerate having to be that careful and concerned about my bags (and it was my first light colored bag, so had a moment of panic).

I have since gotten a bit smarter and developed some useful resources...it turns out there is an amazing leather expert nearby...he is now working on my chocolate Betty bag (also a victim of dye transfere)... I asked him why I am having so much difficulty with specific Chloe bags...he indicated certain shades (brown, red, light colors) and certain leathers (e.g. those used for Betty and F05 silverado bags) are particularly suseptible...at least now I can have the bags "fixed"...I am so hoping the outcome is similar to that of the white stella you reported about.

I am loving the large whiskey zippy and medium black pocket paddy bags. I used the black pocket this weekend...LOVE, LOVE it! Have not used the medium black zippy yet, but DH and I both agree it is definitely a keeper! (It is his favorite...I give him huge karma for tolerating my bag drama and providing an opinion when asked...)

^I'm leaning towards no, mainly because I feel like I've seen that exact same picture in a million auctions. However, I'm not very good at the fake vs. authentic game, so wait for more opinions.
