It's still too conservative for me but I like this HC collection much better than his first. There's some EXQUISITE couture here, especially in the cut of the gowns that everyone noticed. The collection is a lot more varied, showing dresses, suits, gowns, etc., from day to night, all different, yet with a consistency. There's a bit of Galliano's spirit here, eg. that gathered black striped dress diagonally gathered at the bustier, but stripped of the Galliano excesses that looked suspiciously like drama-accents to distract from poor couture work. For the sorts to attend socialite events, and for fashion conservatives like Anna Wintour, these would be very respectable and timeless.
