i love the Klimt inspiration. there's also something very 60s about the hair and makeup, and of course the earrings. and those shoes are just fabulous.

i love this collection but i think it is really fall/winter and not spring but i love the colours and love also the fabrics luxury is needed

Nothing really jumps out at me. It's all very... tacky and overdone with the exception of a few pieces. Rather disappointing.

It´s very nice indeed but I get the feeling that Ive seen this not so long ago.
Anyway I cannot help loving the lime dress in the black model (i am such a disaster for id them) and the 60ish the hair. The fabrics (particulary skin) and shapes are amazing too.
Oh and I really really like what Jhon was wearing

i jsut watched the video and it was worse than what i thought!

how he gets to cut the dresses like that, i dont know... but i do know that it's been very long since he havent seen a non-bright-satins collection! which i am terribly tired of...

the stage looked, once more, terrible! like a gothic prom dance decoration.

the shoes, fantastic at first sight, were the cause that these girls were so scared to pose. they were trying to pull off a egyipt-collection-pose (which i loved), and they ended up holding their waist with two hands, scared to ruin the embroideries and huge volumes, looking like they had a stomach-ache !!
show me a girl that can stand a pose for more than a fraction of a second and i'll wear those shoes for the rest of my life... all of them looked so insecure!

I was just at the Met yesterday and saw the portrait of Madame X for the first time (been dying to for two years, totally different story).

Anyway, seeing it in person makes this collection even more of a let down. The portrait is beyond captivating, and as much as I love John I have to say that he completely missed the mark with this.

Although I see a lot of previous collection inspired stuff, I actually am growing to love it. I really like the leapord print one.
And the make up whoever did it is a geniuuuus!

IMO, it looks like he has struck one note over and over again, before last 2 HC, and then RTW and cruise and then this...I'm almost sure that this upcoming RTW won't be so different. I'm so tired of the over-done, over-decorated, over-embebellished coutures that I've seen from him
