F/W 2013 Campaign Wishlist & Model Casting Discussion, Guesses and Reactions

Suvi was in London and liked the 'on set' picture on Mert's instagram. So that's my guess.

Hm, could be (although she was one of 552 people liking that photo, hehe), but I thought she was CK exclusive while Lara was on maternity leave.

Oh I didn't know that she was exclusive to CK, I guess not then.

I'm not saying she is for FW13/14, I just assumed, considering Lara won't be back. But perhaps it was just for SS13. We'll see. :flower:

It could very well be though. Mert and Marcus like Suvi and Armani likes random girls of the moment so...

Judging by Nastya Kusakina's Instagram it seems she, Anna Selezneva, Andreea Dianconu, and someone else got Ralph Lauren.

Karl Lagerfeld and Freja are in Rome. Hope that means something advertising-wise. B) She has never starred in a Fendi campaign before...

it is very likely that they were there to shoot fendi. i dont think it was for chanel.

karl lagerfeld ads usually are inside studio and i dont think numero france have big budget.

Yes, I emphasized she has never shot for Fendi meaning it is the most plausible option if they are indeed shooting together. They are in Rome after all (a city Karl adores), and he loves shooting Fendi on Italian locations. It really makes sense... Hope it's not just wishful thinking.

^She's actually one of the models with more Prada campaigns under her belt. :flower:

She's Christy Turlington + has a great history with Prada, thats enough reasoning for me. :P Hope its true, I've missed her in fashion.

I'm not excited about this Turlington news either. I'm hoping some new girls (other than Vanessa) will be included atleast. Joanna Tatarka and Gina Bock please !

I know that, but I don't know why. Her look is way too sweet/boring for Prada.
I prefer someone with a bit more edge/b*tch face. If they are going for Prada icons I prefer Linda, Amber, Angela or Elise.
Especially because this collection has a bit of a rough side to it. No, Christy certainly wouldn't be my choice.
If it's true at all, I hope it's not only her.

Gina Bock is totally cool! I get an Elise vibe from her.
And please, Amanda Murphy and Irene Hiemstra too. They're so awesome.

But Linda has never been a Prada icon, Angela and Elise already had their Prada comeback and Amber is too boring and bland...

Whoever the model they choose is, I just hope the campaign is OG. Multigirl castings are really old-fashioned.

Oh, and wasn't she in last season's campaign? There were so many people I didn't even remember... I think having 500 models casted for a campaign just to shoot them separately is quite absurd and kind of makes it less... relevant.
