I Love Blind Items ! #1

yeah, i thought about Will Smith (cus of the kid mention) but he's married.

For the last BI. I mean, I beleive that a lot of guys in Hollywood are either bi or gay, but Ted makes it sound like this one has guys over all the time, left and right. Now, how can someone who's that famous be with that many guys all the time and NOT get caught? I mean, paparazzi are everywhere these days.

while i agree with you i must say that as much as paps are real presence to all of the celebs there are clearly ways of hiding from them (MK's "MIA" for one or two months or Keira's "MIA" of candids) while doing regular stuff and esp. when having homo-activities. the more i look at all these pap pics daily, the more i get it as a game to which all participants agreed and more than that, the paps are setting the game (like Ben Affleck's photos with his kid that are conveniently taken just around Father's day, his new movie release or after there have been rumors of splitting from Jen, for instance).

Jamie Foxx has a child and the "big booty" part makes me think it could be referring to a black person.*

*No that is not meant to be racist or stereotypical. It's just that black men in pop culture are typically portrayed as liking women with big booties.

^Jamie Foxx is a good guess because nobody would believe it's him, because he's so smooth, he has a child, and the multiple endevours makes me think of him with his acting, music and comedy. The only short fall I can see is that he has a daughter, and "kiddo" makes me think of a boy....

What I find odd about these these blind items (from anyone) is that there's so many gay rumours, it seems like anyone who could be even slughtly imagined with another man or co-star usually is, it just seems like a vendetta on the blogger's part. Also this is not the day of Rock Hudson where these things stay quiet for ages. There's so many fame hungry desperados who'll sell their story for a bowl of cherios. It's not like some disingenous flaming homomosexual (you know the ones) is going to be coy and not reveal he had sex with Jake Gyllenhall or Jamie Fox! Please note I'm only referring to the flamboyant types who'll do anything for 15 minutes of fame, not grouping all gay guys. Take people like Clay Aiken or Lance bass for example, guys they had had sex with came out with their stories way before they were both coming out on the cover of Poeple magazine. These blind items paint these hollywood stars as people who are constantly doing it, some guy is BOUND to come out with his story. That's the only reason I'm cynical about thse rumours, there's almost zero facts to it that could single out these stars and give any proper details about their rendezvous (plural). Unless they're having sex with other famous closeted stars then their'd be a conflict of interest.

^
I think that's a fair point. I think the thing with Jake is that it's supposed to be the same guy (the guy who is his best friend - can't remember his name) which would explain that. But either way, I disbelieve the Jake rumors for a variety of reasons (the women he has dated, the family he comes from, the movie roles he chooses, etc.) But I agree overall with your point.

LOL, Jake is the one that I'm almost positive is gay. But yeah, him and Austin Nichols are/were totally doing it.

CK you also bring up a good point.

Jamie Foxx was in Miami Vice with Colin Farrell who is a "And It Ain't" and it mentions "all his endeavors", which means he does more than just act. I don't recall him having any high-profile relationships. I think he totally fits the bill.

That was the first BI from Ted Casablanca that I actually understood on the first read. Didn't have to sit here trying to translate his bizarre (mis)use of the English language.

What I find odd about these these blind items (from anyone) is that there's so many gay rumours [...] it just seems like a vendetta on the blogger's part.
I agree. It always seems like such a witchhunt to out any and every one who could even possibly be gay (or not even, what's the difference? Get the ball rolling and people will suspect).

when i read all these BI i'm beginning to doubt my own (heterosexual) orientation...everyone's gay.

Clay and Lance aren't very big stars.

Big celebrities have expansive fixers, who are people (often ex-intelligence agents) who are charged with killing stories (either at the base by paying-off/threatening the person who is talking or by dealing directly with journalists, paying them off or blackmailing them or aranging an exclusive deal with the publication or threatening costly legal actions).
If you want to know how far those fixers will go and what they can do read the book of Kobe's former fixer (dead girls tell no lie, I think). You should also google Anthony Pellicano, who was Hollywhood's prime fixer for years. It's eye-opening.

That said, Ted C is full of the Brown stuff imo. I can't even be bothered to read his rambling anymore.

^Harumi I always respect your opinion and I'm not a person who minds getting corrected, but seriously it's getting to be like your mission to track down any post with a strong opinion and tear it apart. By all means state your opinion but down correct other's...You seem to take the most trivial things (like who is prettier between Aishwarya Rai and Freida Pinto) and turn it into some pseudo-itellectual crusade. I wont offer my rebuttle because I've seen how this kind of discussion culminates.

^I always state my opinions if I find the subject interesting. I love debating, not because I expect to convert people to my opinion, but for the sake of debating.
You had a strong, documented opinion (which I enjoyed reading in full) and I though you would not mind a strong, documented answer. Obviously I was wrong.

I have noticed that many people are offended by my boldness and by my wish to sometime add a bit of a serious tone in a fluffy conversation (I love fluffy, I just think a bit of seriousness doesn't hurt sometimes). Well, Newman once said: "If you have no enemy, you have no character", so I'll take the dislike as a compliment.
Please also note that things that are very important to me when I surf in here (like the beauty of Freida when I'm in Freida's thread or, say, the Angelina drama), are complete non-issues to me as soon I exit the site, so please be moderate when judging me based about what I wrote in the context of a website centered on mostly shallow subjects.

As for my pseudo-intellectualism, I wrote a post in a thread called I love blind item belonging to a forum called the fashion post. That says it all.

In any case, you are free to scroll down on my posts if they offend you. I'll keep reading yours as they are often very interesting.

No hard feelings, I hope.:flower:

Well with that post you've completely changed my opinion of you. I do apologise as it seems to (now) be pretty short sighted and it was not my intention to offend or embarras you on this forum, especially with my pseudo-itellectual remark. I seriously thought you were "that" into these trivial things, but turns out like me you stop caring when you leave tfs, sometimes I feel like "c'mon this isn't the God does not play dice maxim spot". What I took as you being pedantic was just your passion for debating. Definitly no hard feelings.

Anyway back on topic, Jamie

well, I'd just like to remind you that the website is called the Fashion Spot :p I would still say that fixers might work more in old hollywood, where you could easily pay off journalists, or threaten people. But with new media, it's a lot harder. It's not just the people involved directly (ie the prostitute) but those who see what happens. And not everyone is loyal to those they work for. Yes, almost all sign confidentiality agreements, but stuff gets out "an anonymous source on set". So while I have no doubt that sort of thing goes on, I would say it's a lot harder to hide your sordid life. If you can evade the paparazzi, you have to watch that those working for you don't betray you, that the person you are sleeping with doesn't covertly email tmz, etc. It's obviously not impossible (see: Cruise, Tom) but I think it's harder than it ever was before to hide your secrets.

^yep, much harder (especially in the age of the blind item) and much more expensive, which is why only the bigger stars are really protected, imo.

Carmen, no need to apologise, I understand where you were coming from. I have crossed the line between 'opinated' and 'obnoxious' many times before and been called up on it.

This one is about Beyonce and Kelly Rowland. Pretty sad, but that family is highly dysfunctional.

Dad has several kids, but we’ll focus on two, who are both adults. Offspring A is the A list celebrity everyone knows, who Dad acknowledges as his blood, and who has his name. Offspring B is his illegitimate child, and has a different last name. Offspring B is in the same business as Offspring A, and they have even worked together, but B has always been treated as a second-class citizen. Sadly, Dad has even made several moves to sabotage B’s career. For example, every time B has a project that’s about to be released, Dad pushes Offspring A into the headlines. Now B is struggling a bit, but are Dad and A stepping up to help? No. As usual, B will have to rely on him/herself to find work and pay the bills
Blind Gossip

Yeah, that is definitely Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Matthew Knowles.

LOL, Meg. Tom Cruise is not gay, OBVIOUSLY.

But yeah, I mean hetero relationships usually come out. Take for example Jude Law and David Beckham with their nannies. John Edwards with his employee. Those men probably went to great lengths to keep those under wraps, but they surfaced. Yet, nobody ever sees any evidence of same sex flings. That's why I'm taking all those BI's with a grain of salt, even if I generally tend to believe them.

Yup...When I was working for (insert name of big celeb) and we dealt with many of his celeb friends, the talk that went around the staff in the cafeteria and/or the local bar after work was stunning- even by his very close employees (such as personal bodyguards)...In fact, when (big celebs) marriage came apart, his wife's claim that she never knew about the other woman was sad- we all knew for at least a year! ;) Anyone who thinks that a signed confidentiality agreement is the final word is kidding themselves... And there are always the people who don't fall under such agreements, such as doormen, room service waiters, bartenders, limo drivers; almost nothing is really secret these days...

this is the first time i've ever heard about kelly rowland being the illegitamete child of m.knowles. i've been living under a rock... O_o
