Please excuse my ignorance if this question is a no-no and mods feel free to delete, but where do you ladies go when you decide to sell you T&D bbags? I'm not looking to sell, mind you, but am curious where they go when you get tired of them or when they aren't exactly what you want. Do they go back up on ioffer? Again, my apologies if I shouldn't be asking this here.

Hi all,

Well I just had my fist package seized. I'm in the U.S. and I knew something was fishy when the tracking never updated. Catty thought I was overreacting but I normally get packages from her in 3 days, so today made a week and I had her check again for me and sure enough that's what happened. I ordered 2 bags (1 for a friend) and a wallet by the way. She has already dispatched a new shipment to me and my fingers are crossed.

I am definitely not going to have T&D ship my amethyst, anthracite and argent bags together now, even though they want to.

.....i got a shrunk bottega veneta. there is only 1 size on his site but this one i got obviously smaller...i will ask for RETURN. i cant accept that.

Which bag did you order that was shrunken? Also, I know you SAID the leather on the Easy satchel is paper thin, but it certainly LOOKS delicious! Would you be able to pencil over that spot on the bag with a similar coloured marker to camoflage the "stain"?

Bella08 are you absolutely sure it's been seized? That's terrible.
Catty normally wraps things so well I'm surprised that anyone could be bothered unwrapping the parcel!
It does worry me but I keep telling myself that the chance of it happening is pretty small.
I thought it was really only Europe that had a higher risk???
I've had 2 T&D works shipped together once (ruby and eb) but there were no problems.
I guess 3 bags is probably pushing it though.

Babybluestar I'm not sure if you're still taking votes for the kelly/birkin, but I vote for the yellow. It seems like it would be really difficult to get a different bag in yellow and it would look lovely for spring summer

as i said, im happy w the bag and the leather look and feel delicious, but it isnt as thick as it should be.

The leather looks so beautiful-reminds me of the fendi spy leather.

Will you return it to him? Tough call, because the bag is so nice but I know it would bug me to no end unless I could absolutely camoflage or as suggested color in the scratch.

Actually, I posted after you already replied!! You may be able to take something like shoe polish with wax in it which has the color all in one.

I use a wood pen on my brown leather sofa when I notice a scratch-they sell them at home improvement stores and it's easy to use and then I blend it with a soft cloth. Works like a charm every time!

Let us know how it goes-you're so handy with your bags (lv tanning process, etc) I'm sure you've already thought of something good!!!

chealsea: yep, im keeping it. fendi spy is a great example. anyone here bought both chinese (or reg suppliers) spy version and T&D's spy?
mine feel thin like T&D's spy, not thick like others. HTH

I just received my 2896 vintage jumbo from Jacky and the sides are not aligned with the front! Is this supposed to be the case with the authentics? The front and back are aligned though. And the sides and bottom leather are flat, not pillowy at all
What do you ladies think?

edit: nevermind, i just checked authentic photos and they are like that my bag is gorgeous!!!!

I was told by Canada Customs when I had my package seized (it was medication, not a bag) that I may have trouble in the future coming back into Canada when travelling - meaning they may want to search my bags. However, I do not believe this because firstly, if they were going to search my bags, then why wouldn't they have opened one single package that I have had come through customs since then? Especially when the person who sent the seized package sent another one a week later and it wasn't opened. And, also, how would they have my name on their file when they didn't ask my birth date, or citizenship, and the address I had on the package is not my passport address? So out of the 30+ million people in Canada, how would they know that they would be dealing with the right person?
I wouldn't worry too much about it if it happens. It's one bag, it's not like you are dealing with drug trafficking or child p*rn or anything else that the authorities should really spend their time worrying about.
