Lindsay- time for career rehab!! This is not new news, but someone pointed out- when you are passed over for a position on a show for the likes of LaToya Jackson and Meatloaf, you are in big trouble...
Real estate mogul-turned-reality TV star DONALD TRUMP turned down the opportunity to include LINDSAY LOHAN as a contestant on the new CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, because it's "not the right time" for the troubled actress.
Lohan has spent the past year in and out of rehab and recently completed a court-ordered stay at the Betty Ford Clinic in California to battle her addiction issues.
The Mean Girls star is eager to get back to work and had been in talks with Trump to rebuild her image and feature as part of the line up for the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice, which kicks off in March (11).
But Trump rejected the idea - because he insists Lohan needs more time to sort out her personal life before stepping back into the limelight - although he's not ruling it out for future series.
He tells Life & Style magazine, "(The Lohans) approached me, and we did talk about it. It's just not the right time.
"Lindsay has to straighten herself out first... It could happen in the future, but right now we need to see Lindsay get straightened out."
Lohan is facing jail time for again violating the terms of her probation following an altercation with a staffer at the clinic in December (10), and she is expected to learn her fate at her next court hearing on 25 February (11).
The full list of new contenders to become Trump's Celebrity Apprentice was unveiled on Friday (14Jan11). They include La Toya Jackson, Dionne Warwick and rocker Meat Loaf.

Why would Dina approach Donald with the idea?! Lindsay just got out of rehab, has the biggest court case of her life coming up, and Dina wants her to do a stressful reality TV series. Isn't she supposed to be busy filming the 2nd series of Living Lohan (she said a few months ago its being filmed and put to major networks).
^ I'm sure she is 'in talks' with HBO to get a 27-episode deal as we speak; making sure, of course, that it can air in time for the Emmy nominations... 
I have news for all of them: The Apprentice ratings are so bad, the future looks very dim for any more seasons...The one starting in March was already filmed last Fall, and the ratings for the last (endless) regular Apprentice last year were so bad that they couldn't even spring for a live finale- the winner was decided months ago! Plus, Donald's good buddy Jeff Zucker at NBC who was the great power behind the show, has been unceremoniously fired ahead of the takeover by the new owners of NBC (Comcast), which shows zero interest in continuing a losing cause....So even if Lindsay had been 'hired', there would probably be no show to do anyway...

If it seems like Dawn Holland is trying to profit off this whole Lindsay Lohan mess, that's cause she is -- because after Betty Ford put a stop to her unemployment and workman's comp, she's flat broke.
Holland tells TMZ she's no longer receiving anything from Betty Ford after she was let go last month. She says she has kids to feed and can't get another job in the aftermath of her alleged Lohan run-in.
Holland also says she's hired a new lawyer in an effort to regain her unemployment and workman's comp from BF -- which became a major priority once her deal for photos with Lindsay fell through.
Calls to Betty Ford have not been returned

Stop us if you heard this one before -- Lindsay Lohan is telling her friends she is never clubbing again. As in forever. Forever ever. For reals. Stop laughing.
Sources close to LiLo tell TMZ she is "completely over the club scene" -- no more "I'll just have water, thanks" -- and realizes that cutting it out completely is the best chance for her to avoid temptation and remain sober.
We're also told the no clubbing pledge extends to her friends as well -- as in she's going to stop hanging out with the people that only used her to party.
Which pretty much only leaves her trainer and the pizza delivery guy.

^ Well, that all sounds very nice, but I don't see how it pays for a completion bond; no one is going to want to insure her for a project right now, unless maybe she plays a very small role that can easily be covered if she gets Lost In Space again halfway through the production...

Riverside County prosecutors probing the battery allegations against Lindsay Lohan by a Betty Ford Center medical technician are also seeking to determine whether anyone tried to prevent the woman from cooperating with authorities, according to a source familiar with the probe.
Technician Dawn Holland initially told Riverside County sheriff's investigators that when she tried to administer an alcohol test on Lohan on Dec. 12, the actress grabbed her wrist and hurt it. Later that month, Holland spoke to TMZ.com and restated the allegation, leading the Betty Ford Center to fire her for breach of confidentiality.
Holland then had a change of heart and informed authorities through a Beverly Hills lawyer that she did not want to pursue the matter because as a recovering addict herself, she sympathized with Lohan.
Authorities were frustrated last week at being unable to interview Holland, the source said, and are looking into whether someone was blocking Holland from talking to them.
In the last few days, she got a new attorney, who told The Times that Holland will fully cooperate with authorities.
Authorities are determining whether to charge Lohan for the incident at Betty Ford, which could also be a parole violation for the star.
Lohan spent three months at the Betty Ford Center under orders by Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox, who spared the actress jail time in October... [censored]... He directed her to stay at the center through January.
