OMG She has to work in a morgue?! I'd freak the hell out. Seriously. I stumbled onto a photo of River Phoenix in his casket whilst I was googling Brad Renfro stuff last week and seriously, I haven't slept since. I'm not sure how helpful that would be anyway. I mean I see what they are trying to do but I am teetotal and always have been yet if they made me work in a morgue, I would totally hit the bottle.

By the way, I didn't buy the "mourning" caption either, I thought it was ridiculous. It was basically Lindsay coming out of a restaurant/club/store all dressed-up as usual, but hiding her face for a change.

Yet another crappy low budget film is being planned on the subject, THE MANSON GIRLS. Being produced by the guy who did MONSTER, Brad Wyman (most famous in Hollywood for running naked through the corridors of Cannes) and Donald Kushner another exploitation producer, the script does NOT include Charlie at all. It is kind of like doing a movie but missing the entire point.

Lindsay Lohan is attached to play Linda Kasabian. Which is odd. Clea Duvall played her in the bad HELTER SKELTER remake and was suitably unattractive, like Linda. Lindsay is pretty. And talented. In this movie she has to do extensive nudity. Sounds like an extremely lame film.

Then again, La Lohan did CHAPTER 27, about the murderer of John Lennon, so maybe she has a thing for killers. Although that film never came out.

I do not pity Lohan for being an alcoholic or being caught drinking.
She is young. She doesn't want to move to bumblef**k town, Montana (no offense to people from Montana). She wants to be with people that are hip, cool and go out and do interesting things and shop at Chanel at 3 in the afternoon when she wakes up.
I can suffer people like Lindsay's antics as long as I can look at their clothing, but this isn't cutting it.

Lohan Posed For Free For NY Magazine
The photographer who snapped the photos of Lohan was Bert Stern, the same lensman who was behind the camera for Monroe's famed 1962 shoot at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles. And while some magazines reportedly spend millions to get their hands on exclusive photos of celebrities or their babies, New York paid Stern its standard fee for such assignments--and paid Lohan nothing for her participation, according to magazine spokeswoman Lauren Starke.

For a site that's averaged around a million page views a day lately, the results were stunning. NYmag.com recorded a total of more than 40 million page views Monday and Tuesday, more than 34 million of which came from the Lohan portfolio, Starke said.

According to New York's online rate card, the "super banner ad" of the type that appears on the Lohan photo slideshow has a CPM (cost per 1,000 impressions) of $15. Multiply that by the number of views and the Lohan slideshow ads were valued at more than $500,000 over two days. NYmag.com probably charged far less than the rate-card rate, as is common in the industry. Starke said the magazine doesn't disclose revenue details about advertising deals.

Still, New York's Web site no doubt made out pretty well. Some perspective: Based on its rate card, New York generated about as much revenue per day from its online slideshow as it would from four $64,500 full-page color ads in its print edition.

Lindsay Lohan to Launch Legging Line

Lindsay Lohan may single-handedly be keeping the leggings trend alive and kicking. After being spotted night after night in the darn things, Lilo recently told Life & Style weekly she's thinking of starting her own legging line.
“It will be a while before it comes out, but I’m going to do it. Some of them will have prints and some will have patterns. I love leggings.”
To this we say: Good for you. Okay, we may not like the trend much and wouldn't ourselves be caught wearing a pair, especially ones with patterns or prints. But if this keeps Lindsay on the up and up, why not? And at least she's not trying to design dresses and berets, like some L.A. girls we all know.

All this biz talk isn't coming from out of the blue. In Touch weekly is alleging that Lohan is perhaps a bit strapped for cash. The mag went so far as to list out her rehab, hotel, and even tanning costs ($315,000, $1 million, $70,000 respectively). Lohan's rep denies this ugly rumor.

Now if only LiLo can somehow parlay her leggings into a new movie role…

After two pricey rehab stints and string of box-office disappointments, it’s no surprise that people close to Lindsay Lohan are saying that the actress is starting to panic that she’s not as flush with cash as she once was.

“Lindsay has had a reality check — she’s not getting offers like she used to. She’s definitely thinking she needs a big blockbuster just so she can go back to living comfortably,” said one source in the film industry.

Just where did the money go? In Touch weekly outlined some of her spending, and the magazine concludes that Lohan has paid more than $315,000 on rehab stays and more than $1 million on hotels (in particular, they point to the $2,700/night suite at the Chateau Marmot where Lohan lived for a time). And although her rep denies Lohan's cash situation and spending, there is a stunning budget line for tanning: The magazine says that she spent a mind-boggling $70,000 alone on her sunshine in a bottle.

Lohan is thinking outside of the box, though. She recently revealed that she’s got a business idea to carry her over until her next windfall: She’ll be starting her own line of leggings.
