Arrest Warrant Issued for Lindsay Lohan

E! Online - Friday the 13th was indeed freaky for Lindsay Lohan.
A $50,000 warrant was issued for the 22-year-old starlet yesterday, stemming from her May 2007 DUI arrest during a memorably awful Memorial Day weekend that culminated with the Freaky Friday in rehab.
In a statement, the Beverly Hills Police Department said:
"In response to media inquiries, [the] Beverly Hills Police Department is confirming a warrant was in fact issued for the arrest of Lindsay Lohan. The $50,000 warrant issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court stems from a May 2007 arrest of Miss Lohan for DUI and hit-and-run. The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant by the court are not readily available at this time. It is our hope that Miss Lohan will surrender herself so that this matter will be resolved in a timely manner."
In May 2007, Lindsay was arrested for driving under the influence after losing control of her car and running up a curb. Police found cocaine in her car and lab tests showed the drug in her system.
After pleading guilty in August 2007, Lohan was sentenced to one day in jail and placed on probation for three years.

...Lohan's harried spokeswoman, Leslie Sloan Zelnick, answered her phone Saturday by saying, "If this is about Lindsay, I have no idea what's going on."
The warrant was issued by the Beverly Hills Superior Court, and stems from a May 2007 arrest where Lohan was charged with driving under the influence and hit and run.
The "Mean Girls" star, after a trip to rehab, spent 84 minutes in jail on the drunken driving charge back in November 2007.
Celebrity Web site TMZ asked Lohan about the warrant Friday night as she left the Chateau Marmont on West Hollywood, but she ducked her head and said nothing as she was driven away.
It's possible the warrant was tied to terms of Lohan's probation in the case

This seems to be getting a little weird...

Though she had a warrant out for her arrest, that didn't stop Lindsay Lohan from hitting the town of Friday (March 13).
After lunching in Beverly Hills, Miss Lohan went shopping at Gelson's market - only to be escorted home by police, but for some reason not taken into custody.
Later on in the evening, Miss Lohan then headed off to Chateau Marmont, followed up by a trip to Jack Nicholson's house.
Talking to Us magazine, LiLo's father, Michael Lohan, has already chimed in, saying, "I'm always worried about Lindsay as long as she's involved in relationships that are harmful to her."
"I feel like when you're around the right people, you do the right thing, when you're around the wrong people, you do the wrong thing. [But] she'll deal with [the warrant] like she has to. She's not going to ignore it. Mark my words, as long as Samantha Ronson is in Lindsay's life, nothing is going to go right!" papa Lohan added.

I have nothing against Sam but she and her world/lifestyle are a very bad thing for Lindsay- she could use one of those six month boot camp treatment programs in the hills, not this past nonsense of going on shopping trips every other day like she had in the past...When someone has had legal, family, health and career problems due to their abuse, and has already been in treatment several times, they need serious attention...

Police officers were dispatched to Lindsay Lohan's Hollywood home Saturday after neighbors reportedly called 911 as she and girlfriend Samantha Ronson began fighting.
Officers tried to arrest Lohan -- who has had a warrant out against her since Friday evening -- but the actress would not answer the door. She was, however, spotted peeking out an upstairs window briefly when the officers first arrived.

X17 reports that the couple began fighting shortly after Ronson returned home from a DJ gig in Canada, and that the altercation escalated to the point where a window was broken.
Earlier on Saturday, Lohan's father, Michael, expressed his concern for Lindsay's well-being.
"She's in a very toxic relationship, and I'm really worried about her," he told Us. "As long as she's around Sam, you never know. It's like a powder keg -- you don't know when it's going to blow up."

But if she comes in contact with police, she's subject to arrest. As for why we're not actively looking for her, that's not our procedure for this type of warrant. Her attorney is hoping to resolve this issue in the coming week. If it's not resolved, I'm sure we'll negotiate her voluntary surrender."


Wild Hollywood Night

Lohan's latest legal woe followed a night of partying that included dinner with pals at the Chateau Marmont – and a bizarre late-night visit to the Hollywood home of actor Jack Nicholson.

Lohan's Friday night at the Chateau began around 8 p.m. Arriving with three female friends, and clad in a loose black top adorned with sequins, she was in an upbeat mood during dinner at a patio table at the West Hollywood hotspot, witnesses say. Lohan laughed, chatted and texted on her phone. The actress dined on soup and opted for water and an unidentified drink in a cocktail glass, while her friends had red wine. The group stayed well past 11.

Around 1:45 a.m., Lohan showed up outside actor Nicholson’s house on Mulholland Drive. Witnesses say the actress, accompanied by pals, buzzed the intercom numerous times and grew agitated, asking for “Jack” to open the gate.

The group was eventually let in, and Lohan remained inside until a bodyguard picked her up about 4:30 a.m. (Representatives for Nicholson could not immediately be reached for comment.)

Lohan’s bodyguard then brought her to Sam Ronson’s house, where Ronson showed up at around 11:30 a.m. Later in the day, a loud disturbance was heard at the house, including the sound of a breaking window. Police cars arrived at the house shortly afterward.

The difference with Britney is that her parents seemed, on some level, to be actively concerned about her well being and took measures to ensure she was taken care of (via the legal conservatorship). That is, imo, the only thing that got her back on track. I'm not so sure the same will happen with Lindsay.

Lindsay appears to have taken a turn for the worse since she started seeing Samantha. She seems to be in a worse place than when she did her last round of rehabs. Of course, I'm just judging the physical stuff but she definitely looks worse and is acting really nutty.

Considering that she has quite possibly been seeing Samantha for far longer than just the last year, I think it has less to do with Samantha rather than her own mental issues which obviously have resurfaced. Recovering from an addiction is immensely difficult and with even just one slip she could be set back into her old ways. I don't really think all too much of her but I find it kind of sad IMO that she doesn't have much of a support network that a former addict would need and combined with her own ego it's a disaster waiting to happen. For quite a while last year in the peak of her public outings with Samantha (especially when filming Ugly Betty) she seemed to be in really good health. As for Michael Lohan I wouldn't trust a word that came out of his mouth seeing as he can hardly call anyone else a negative influence on his daughter's life when he has probably been one of the worst.

Making music is a lot different than making films, an actor has to be insured to make films. There is a lot more that goes into the publicity as well...Britney was still able to release a platinum record at the height of her crazy. Britney always had a fanbase willing to buy if she put out good material, if you're an actor you need to impress studio bosses not just fans.

My ex wife worked in a rehab- the dirty little secret of these programs is that one in five people get straight and stay that way...The overwhelming majority either never get better or go back and forth- which is why a solid support network is so important...Lindsay getting involved with Sam and whatever issues she may have, coupled with her job being out in clubs every other night to earn a living, was pretty much the kiss of death to Lindsay's sobriety. Lindsay's career prospects are the least of her worries right now- her physical and mental health, if not her survival, is going to have to be addressed before she can deal with career, relationships, family, finances or whatever...If this current legal mess does not go well, I can see her back in treatment very soon...

Lohan's Twitter Meltdown

FYB has some EXCLUSIVE and disturbing information from Friday night’s arrest warrant issued for Lindsay Lohan.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, the troubled 22-year-old starlet was suffering from a complete meltdown on Twitter after partying at Jack Nicholson’s place until 4:30 AM.
LiLo was updating her Twitter from about 5 AM to approximlately 8 AM and later in the day, when girlfriend Samantha Ronson returned home and Lindsay had perhaps sobered up, she promptly deleted the messages from her Twitter and her updates went from 75 to 65. Needless to say, FYB managed to get its hands on a screencap of some of Lindsay’s craziest remarks before they were removed.
Here are just some of what she had to say: “should you end it if the one person in the world fails to love,” “hold/comfort, apologize, and CHERISH you the night before jail? LIARS R COWARDS cuz they don’t know what they got til it is far gone,” “people-if you f*cking love someone. PUT UR PRIDE A-f*cking-SIDE AND JUST LOVE THEM BACK! do not ever dj before calling if they ARE F*CKING ABOUT TO GET ARRESTED FOR CHASING YOU TO MAKE YOU STAY.”
Afterwards, Miss Lohan began saying she misses her baby. Bi-polar anyone?
Let us hope that this experience offers Lindsay the insight to realize what she sounds like when she is likely under the influence.
