You know, it seems this is how it always goes- the Tara Reid and Britney history- Star gets big, starts acting weird, become tabloid material more for their behavior than their work, starts really pi**ing off people in power that can pull strings, and then they really go downhill as they are shut out from their usual stage- things like awards shows, big time dinners, front row at fashion shows and then hip clubs and so on- they simply become more trouble than they are worth to the industry... Not to mention in Lindsay's case she is on thin ice legally- one arrest away from what, her fourth or fifth episode with the cops? and I am sure her finances are very shaky at this point...So sad- the game is almost over as far as I can see...

Britney is in a different league.. you can't compare her with the Lindsay/taras.. you just can't

Britney has a mental disorder, she couldn't help all the crazy things she did. LiLo's addiction is also an illness, but she also like all the negative attention.

Was there ever a press statement of what was really going on with Britney as far as what mental disorder/illness she was/still is (most likely) suffering from? Because I see her and Lohan as very similiar in their actions...now, Tara Reid, I dont think she can be compared to either of them, she just seemed to me to be a drunk.

Britney is Bi-polar and she did not take her medication. It was leaked to the the press, that's why her father is her permanent guardian. You can't compare the crazy stuff Britney did to LiLo's behavior.

Well, two quick points...I think you are correct about Tara- she was more of a 'what she had that day' problem...She had a brawl in a bar with Cindy Margolis in Atlantic City when she was very messed up about five years ago, and I had actually talked with her for about a half an hour a few hours before that, and she was perfectly normal and friendly (we grew up in adjoining towns in NJ so we had things in common...) - so I tend to think her 'activities' were a major factor in her problems; and somewhat back on topic- such 'activities', as with Lindsay, can cause damage over time that is very much like a mental disorder since the brain has been rewired, if you will...Lindsay's bizarre behavior the last few months makes me think this is what has happened to her- she seems off the wall most of the time now, such as rearranging seats at a fashion show and so on...

I find the whole Britney thing so sad and worse than Lindsay. I think generally people WANTED/WANT britney to get better and be like she was (unrealistically perfect) but lindsay was never on a level that Britney got to. So people dont really care as much yknow?

It was like she wanted to be mega famous, whereas it just kinda happened to britters organically. Off topic but i just cannot fathom britney. Im such a fan, but she gets on my nerves how she could look amazing, but she chooses to wear wedge flip flops and a $2 weave!

back to topic; after watching that 'rumours' song after reading this thread....its like she predicted the future...eerie!

I think as far as Britney, I know we're getting off-topic, but she's never had her own style, she's always been a mannequin and told by others what to do, wear, and she doesnt write her own songs, so she's not even being herself, she's a caricature of herself. It's sad. I can see how someone might go crazy.
