Lindsay Lohan, no stranger to rumors about her state of mind, took to Twitter early Thursday morning to quash rumors that she's been hospitalized.

"Hahahaha my publicist just called me & said she heard I was in a psych ward!!!! Hahaha WHAT IS WRONG with people???? I'm working lol," Tweeted Lohan, 23, who has had previous stints in rehab and in the emergency room.

"BUT that's one I've NEVER heard about myself before!" Lohan continued Tweeting about her supposed hospitalization. "New ones r always interesting huh? There's SO much more going on in the world! Wake up."

Lohan's rep tells PEOPLE the actress is indeed working, and is currently in Texas shooting the upcoming thriller Machete, also starring Robert DeNiro and Jessica Alba.

Meanwhile, Lohan's manager-mom, Dina, tells PEOPLE she is busily working on the launch of LohanHouse.com, a Web site she says will serve as a platform to dispel rumors about herself and her children. Among the Web site's features will be an e-commerce section where visitors can buy stylish Lohan-inspired clothing.

Way to kill two birds with one stone.
Police have charged an 18-year-old man with felony burglary in connection with break-ins at the homes of both Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge, E! News confirmed Thursday.
Nicholas Prugo, who's accused of burglarizing the ladies' respective residences, was arrested at around 7:30 a.m. by Hollywood burglary detectives, according to LAPD spokeswoman Officer Sarah Faden.
"They arrived at the 3500 block of Gladiola Drive in the city of Calabasas, where they took Nicholas Prugo into custody," Faden said.
"He's being charged with felony burglary and being held on $20,000 bail. The case will be presented to the District Attorney's Office, and at this point it is still pretty much ongoing."
Lohan "thanks the LAPD for doing such an excellent and expedient job," dad Michael Lohan, who called the arrest "wonderful news," exclusively told E! this afternoon.
"At this time, she wants to speak to detectives involved before releasing an official statement in regards to Nicholas. For the time being, she has no comment regarding the perpetrator than to thank the police and people involved in his apprehension."
When contacted for comment, a receptionist at Prugo's father's office said he had left for the day.
Well, here's hoping Patridge and Lohan—who has since moved from the scene of the crime—can rest easier tonight.
Lohan's rented Hollywood Hills residence was broken into for the second time on Aug. 23. The actress returned home that morning to find a door off its hinges and her safe ripped out of the wall. Various undisclosed personal items were missing.
Police released footage of several suspects taken by surveillance cameras on Lohan's property. The starlet has since left that troubled abode for a more secure apartment elsewhere in Los Angeles.
A rep for Patridge had no comment at this time.
The Maxim cover girl's home in the Hills was hit in the wee hours of Feb. 23.
