The "Buy Now" links on the Lanvin page are now active, but just take you back to the queue page. It really annoys me when things like this happen. There are ways to ensure a site can handle something like this, and if you're going to sell it online, then they should at least be prepared..

I remember with the Jimmy Choo collection, the site was up and running after an hour...and there was lots left

I don't think it'd ever be on purpose, as to be perfectly simple about it, they want your money. They're never going to come up with ways to stop you giving them it. It's just a lack of preparation probably!
