Lanvin for H&M (Update....Second Collection?)

There's only a few stores in Asia. Shanghai, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan.. I think that's about it.

Oh, and we're paying £50 more than the Brits...for the same items. 1299 DKR (the prices of most of the dresses) is about £150. Is it really fair that we have to pay 50% more than everyone else?

pft, haven't you read my posts complaining about the price differences a few pages back?

Nope :ninja: You're paying as much as the Norwegians, 60% more than the Brits...whereas us Danes are only charged 50% more than the Brits. Just lovely!

BUT...their pricing is insane. I know it's WAY more expensive paying the staff and rent in countries like Denmark, but that does not justify that we have to pay £50 more per dress than in other countries. It's just a plain rip-off.

I will try to get some one to buy the stuff I like here in Sweden, just hope that H&M wont do the same as when Jimmy Choo for H&M was because then you could only buy one thing from every piece, not two pink dresses for an example.

As far as the prices are concerned...it might have to do with duties and taxes to import the goods in the country...just my humble opinion.

duties and taxes to import the goods in the country? from Sweden to Norway and Denmark?? what???

Didn't they do the bracelet thingy for another collection as well? Anyone remember which one?

it was for the jimmy choo collection, but it was only for the shoes and bags....

anyway, is the hm site down only for me?

Yes, if the garments are made in China which most of them probably are.

Now I know that people from UK can order online from 7 am 23 of November Hurray ::-D This si only one chance for me to make some nice shopping before I willl go to my job :D

and about this taxes and different prices in different countries this is crazy !!!!

There is none within the EU.

Yes, from country to country within the EU, that's true. but are all of the garments made in the EU? If they are then the pricing strategy is pure marketing or based on commissions paid to Alber.

the pieces are waaay overpriced. i was considering getting a few stuff online, but i would never spend that much money on a cheap looking lanvin knock off.

We don't quite know yet, they usually state it on the label. I'd be quite interested to know.

BUT tax-wise it doesn't matter where the garments are produce. Cost-wise, it matters a great deal methinks.

I'm surprised. They are carrying the line in more US stores than I thought. I figured it would be in NYC and LA only. But no Philadelphia, and I have three H&M stores near me! Can't figure out why; they are carrying it in cities like Portland, Oregon for pete's sake! I can't shop online either being in the US. Have to decide if I want to fight the crowds in New York. Still hoping to snag the sunnies on Ebay.

know what you mean. I am afraid that online sale is only one option for me cause later in the evening when I finaly will be in the store my XS size can be sold out.

The site's not fully active, with the store locator and full collection up...

The UK Stockists will be 6 in London, one in Manchester, one in Glasgow, one in Kent, and one in Birmingham.

I think the bracelet idea is needed for this. I was at Jimmy Choo and it was a breeze shopping during that time.
