Thank you, softgrey!
Wow, that thread is very long!!

As I am an obsessive person, long amounts of time spent gathering information usually do not bother me--I guess it's just the fact that navigating a 10-page thread seems more arduous a task than searching a bunch of different webpages in the same amount of time. Perhaps it's because it's harder to mine out the important stuff...?
I've read through about half of it now.

p.s. guys, do we have a thread on Carpe Diem? I just did a search & nothing came up. Everyone talked a lot about it in this thread, but I've never seen any of their clothes. I'd love to though

yeah its in the family brands thread. cdiem, linea, lmaltieri.

yes, jhaime

back to topic: there will be a nice linen jacket for the coming fall.

you're welcome cerfas

what does the linen jacket look like? and where can we purchase one?

Runner/Faust - How's the fit for LUC trousers? I found a pair of 30" waist tapered trousers. Generall, I'm a size 29/30/31..would they be very relaxed and wide? Or just 'regular'? Thx in advance :flower:

Its depends on the style of the trousers, LUC does many different cuts.

With these kind of brands that have thier own unique sizing, I always try to try it on first.

The pants your referring to seem to have a wider leg, they don't look that tapered to me in the photographs.

However, the auction refers to them as tapered and I own a pair of LUC pants with that cut, so I'll tell you how it is.
quite relaxed and wide with a relatively long crotch, and the pant legs are quite wide to begin with, but become small very close to the bottom of the legs.

Combined with the length, I found it to give an overall effect of baggy-ness.

Thankyou, Raijin :flower:

Something like this?

In that case, I quite like the fit.

Thats the 'pajama pants' that runner wears, its a different cut from the one I was just describing.

The tapered cut is not high-waist, and gives the effect of baggy-ness all the way from the upper thighs down to the end of the trousers.

I have no idea, because I've never tried them on. Sorry :flower:

I don't know which pair you are referring to Arturo, sorry. I have tried on three styles named "schoolboy pants (the left in #91)", "pigiama pants (the right #91)" and "roomy pants". I think the fits of them would be almost the same around the waists. but they all seem to run bigger this season than the last fall, somehow. relaxed. size 44 would be better with you. as raijin said, it's good to try them on though, if possible.

surver, I'll post its picture when I find it. where do you live?

i'm trying to locate contact information for Luca Luarini of LUC; anyone have that? it's for a project i am working on. thanks in advance. also if anyone has maurizio altieri's perugia contact information please also offer. thanks

the grey "washed" one is my fav....I saw something similar to the cream the other day and it's very nice.

i like the paint knit and the knit jacket...
thx runner...

hi runner,

thnsx so much for always updating the pics.
I have a question and i think only you could answer since you were in contact with the clothes. What justifies the price of the t shirts. Im not saying its too expensive or not worth it, but i know sometimes its hard to tell on a picture the details.
Whats the Fabric, where is it from , where was it knitted? what treatments went into it, how many pieces where produced?how precise is the cut?

everything looks fabulous, along with carpe diem , these products are now reference to me.

thnx
