It's time for Karlie's husband to step up if he's really so against his brother and his family's intrigue. Say something to defend his wife, and make a statement about his father getting pardoned.
Christy Turlington complex? Is that about how Chrity dislikes fashion or?I get that thing about Karlie but let's be realistic, we're all even afraid of being too confrontational with our own, non-famous/zero influential or powerful family members. It's family, there's not much you can do about it (unless you're one of these people that 'resigns' from relatives like it's a job), especially if it's not even your brother or aunt but your partner's family, you can only hammer so much before you enter 'f*cking psycho' territory, burn relationships to the ground and end up breaking your marriage. Now that would satisfy most people, they disapprove of Karlie being with a Kushner and want her to show 'true redemption' for that but what would that entail? should she divorce because the public disapproves? she is clearly comfortable and has been with the guy for many years..
I dislike Karlie lol, I cannot stand her Christy Turlington complex and her ultra crafted 'tv' personality (and don't get me started on her shady ways hiring Taylor's manager) but I'm a bit perplexed on what people want.. it seems like people demand a type of accountability that is not realistic in a divided country, not as a private citizen or a public figure. She has stated her position, surely not in a defiant way (ever thought her partner was probably not okay with it because it's his family after all?) but it's.. there, and there are no rumors of her being directly involved in any sketchy business, she certainly didn't get any cake slice during the nepotism fest happening in the past 4 years.
Now can we just establish that model dude is NOT hot nor good-looking?. Hot-ish, sure, in that 'bassist for that Air Supply cover band at Applebee's on an empty Tuesday night' way, no more really, I'm surprised he went as far as landing a contract. He's not even ripped in a hot way (more like he read the same far-right book on 'Roman/Greek' aesthetics I read recently, and didn't know when to stop lifting/taking pills)..
Asking Joshua Kushner to comment on his father getting a pardon from Trump because of crimes he (father) committed is just as ridiculous as asking Karlie to comment on Trump and her in-laws.

Due to religion. Ivanka and Karlie had to convert to Judaism. Sometimes orthodox community is very sceptical to converter.Seems like the Kushner parents have some big issues themselves, because they also didn't want Jared to marry Ivanka and got them to split for a short while![]()
Christy has good reputation. She graduated from college and has own foundation which help mothers. For someone she is not typical model, something more. In normal world it is nothing unique but a lot models have complexs about eduaction/ stereotypical view that they are foolish. Karlie told everywhere about going to study, her codeing camp and she acted image that doing something more than modeling.Wait what is a Christy Turlington complex? Is it having mismatched eyebrows ?
Homegirl has been retiring for the past 10 years. One of the model that I like is Julia Nobis who is studying to become a surgeon but did not use it's as a marketing tool for her career, in fact I don't think she have social media ( at least a public one) and she planning on retiring from modeling. Nothing but respect for her.
not really, not the use or lack of use but the type of publicity surrounding a rather common pursuit. I don't think it's something anyone's ever strictly private about (and there shouldn't be a reason for that) and most models certainly publicize one or another that they're now in school (especially if it's a renowned institution). I'm just doubtful of the PR machinery behind the studious image when... you're not even that studious or studious at all, so it seems more like you're after the rewards instead of the process, and what are these rewards without the process? certainly not knowledge, it's status. But good for them for not using their degrees as some sort of badge of publicity and honor is what you're saying?
Models with Higher EducationDid Karlie ever go to college?
Sara Ziff, Joan Smalls, Carmen Kass and Nimue Smit/Mirte Maas (One of them, I get them confused), Adesuwa, one of the Chinese models that Steven Meisel likes (I forgot her name) and Ava Smith are just some of the few who finished college and aren't as well known to the general public. Sara Ziff is making waves with her work. I don't think a lot of them are "relevant" in the eyes of fashion anymore besides Adesuwa. But good for them for not using their degrees as some sort of badge of publicity and honor is what you're saying?
Yes in Australia we can either go straight to a 6 year medicine degree from high school or do 3 years undergrad then 4 years post-grad. I believe Julia finished her undergrad science degree but did not get into post-grad med immediately a couple years ago when she 'retired' so went on a volunteering trip instead.Homegirl has been retiring for the past 10 years.
I agree—I am very surprised to see Raquel on this list
...Karolina isn't even Brazilian and doesn't speak Portuguese hahah sooo....
