Albeit we give him a hard time around here, he did a stellar job for DVN.

After James' revelation and Lanvin's rebuttal it was disheartening to still see such a white cast, but I looked over Bouchra's past collections and MOC were very few and far between.

Dries Van Noten's cast on the other hand was MAGNIFICENT! Best cast of the season so far. Piergiorgio outdid himself.

I'm maybe overreacting but the DVN cast is my favorite of the entire decade. This is a very major and memorable cast. I don't know if people will remember this collection at all but this cast is history already.

Lanvin's casting was amazing! Sasha, Lily, Kim, Catherine.. if only the venue was nice, it would make the collection seem good.

The cast was really impressive, I didn't even look at the garments and that never happens to me.

Anyway, the light was so harsh and the make up so horrible that everyone looked too... old/rough.

^ Same here, hardly looked at the clothes and yes a tad harsh on the lighting. But that cast was historical and will be a future threshold reference for casting mature women.
Unsure if Piergiorgio deserves accolades for this, seems to me Dries just called all his old fav's from his little black book himself.

DVN wins casting this season. Hands down. Tasha Tilberg, Trish Goff, Missy, Delfine, Michele Hicks, etc. That cast was phenomenal.

Great cast at dries! But let's be honest that wasn't PG. that was 100% van noten himself. Those were all his girls that he asked to be there. It was 100 shows.

There are a lot of backstage pictures/videos from the DVN show and they're so cute. Seeing the models reunite backstage was incredibly sweet and nostalgic.

DVN did it right, although some of the newer models I don't think really fit (Mica, Marjan, Ondria).

I have to say I liked to see a few "newer faces" in the cast. Don't get me wrong, absolutely thriled about all the veterans but I feel like he included everybody, not just his old faves. It was a good mix between veterans, established girls (loved to see Sasha and Karmen for example) and new girls.
Without doubt THE cast of the season.

Finally something exciting that's happening, this has been such a snoozefest so far.
