Joan opening Pucci was my favorite moment so far, but all-in-all, I have to say I was disappointed in the Milan castings. I'm happy about the increase in diversity, but sad about the lack of established models walking big shows. Where were all the top girls at Ferragamo, Prada, Dsquared2, Versace, BV & Ferretti?Milan isn't supposed to be a cake walk for newbies. I hope it doesn't turn into newbie central like the rest of the big cities.
Why is it getting worse?
Surely casting directors can't think a sea of newbies is good? Great clothes go hand in hand with good models to make a good show. In addition hardly any newbies know how to walk to even present the clothes well. I am looking at you Marc Jacobs.
Guess who's going to be at Vaccarello tomorrow?
