Nice to see some vets at Balenciaga, but the cast was still dominated by bland newbies...

Anita is so damn predictable, like c'mon gurl, the same two black girls from Wang's show, the only asian girl too, the opener was a Wang exclusive and all the others exclusives from his show were here too, a bunch of his model friends (Hanne, Kasia, Suvi, Julia N, Kravchenko ...), i mean, she doesnt even try Daria W. closing was everything tho....im REALLY scared for Vuitton

I feel like Alex and Anita spent their whole casting budget this season to get Daria to close Balenciaga.

Wow. What a surprise to see Daria. Paris has been good for these so far. First Snejana, now Daria. Didn't care much for the rest of Balenciaga's cast. I was hoping, with Wang at the helm, we'd be getting more vets in the cast. Somehow, it turned out to be the opposite of that.

Personally I loved Balenciaga's casting, it feels like Alex actually has a hand it in, I like the double exclusive thing he's started, the newbies were all cool. My only compliant is the lack of diversity.

but thats what i mean, out of all the designers i expect him to embrace diversity in a unique way but he doesnt.

There are pictures on instagram of Rosie HW and Karlie backstage at Balmain. I guess we'll see them walking the show.

Glad to see Karlie back in action. Shame she never walked Balenciaga as it would've been her first time. I usually love the Balmain cast as it normally has strong walkers and big names so I hope that continues!

It would be huge for them to have Rosie walk and I'd love to see her back on the runway.

Balmain cast was solid (save for a couple of the obvious WTFs). Wish we'd seen Daria and Snejana there, but oh well.

Balmain's cast is very nice. I usually love the surprise appearance of either fierce girls from 2004-2008 period or VS Angels, and they manage to get Rosie. The rest is a nice mix of girl-of-the-moment and top models. Can't complain. I wish there were more Asian models though.

Rousteing's stunt casting seemed desperate. I know Balmain usually always pulls out the big names, but this collection wasn't worth wearing and walking in.

^ Funny thing is that I felt the same way about Balenciaga. I felt so bad watching Julia and Daria walk for the new low level brand, not to mention that I feel like although it was a lot of girl's first time walking the show (Joan, Jourdan), they didn't actually walk Balenciaga.

Sorry for letting my bias show.

Pretty crummy casting so far today with the odd 'wam-bam' appearance as an attempt to cover the mediocrity up.
