Prada F/W 09.10 Milan

i like the flapper dresses and i like the red and the shoes but honestly those boots just ruin it and some of those coats are very boring for me

I'm loving everything about this (except the boots) Best collection that I've seen so far during this season.
I wasn't expecting much from Prada after past fall... But then I saw the pre-fall collection and it made me wait for something. Some looks are quite Prada 'vintage', but this time I appreciate them more.

it looks so earthy and natural...

Prada always surprises me, Miuccia is really one of the best designers these days, she's so focused and different!

woah, i love this collection!

I love it. One of the most innovative collections this season. Miuccia is always churning out something new. Very strong collection.

its really a downgrade compare with the last few collection that she made.... not a really surprising collection though....

thank you, perleee!.

god I'm so bored. This is what Milan usually is and has not been this week, insipid and tedious to look at. wish it was wednesday already.

beautiful colours..
love the fur..
very simple clothes ...

i like how the suits turn A-line.

I still don't know what to think. Some clothes look great, but some are awful. I need more time...

I love ancient greek armour inspiration

I think it's great. I actually love the wellies, although the gladiator heels are even more astounding. The mink dress is to die for - the 'primitive' aspect makes a lot of this work, and I do love how relevant the whole thing is in relation to the economy and blahblahblah. Someone else said it already, but I'm glad to see someone kind of facing it head on. Wading through, retreating to the country, or battling the recession...strong ideas and a pretty strong interpretation I think.

For me, the weakest pieces are a lot of the more simple leather coats, like in #215. Doesn't seem to be much going on with them, or they don't strike me as particularly inspiring at least. It just seems everyone is either loving or complaining about the boots but I think they're kind of great.

And of course, the gladiator-flapper dresses are absolutely divine.

love the clothes esp the coats and the look with the knitwear coming out of the shorts  but i really dislike the shoes. oh and the hair. i kind of wish the colors were more in the dark tones (maybe i was expecting black b/c of the menswear being all black, shrugs).

Call me sinister, but I wish Miuccia had elaborated further on the cavewoman look. I find it to be the most interesting aspect of this collection.

Wow, I think I love it! :buzz:

Seriously, it looks really great! After mens collection I'm definitely not disappointed, plus I love the finale!

I definitely like a lot of it. The tailoring is great, particularly those jackets and dresses with the collars that stand away from the neck a bit, and the last few armored looks are fab, but overall I don't love it like I loved last season.

I'm not sure what it is really. Maybe I was hoping it would be even more aggressive because of the first images that were posted, maybe I was hoping it would look a bit more like the mens collection (thought I do like the color she used)...I dunno. But I don't think the whole collection lives up to the first impression it made. It's kind of like how I felt about Jil Sander, it wasn't taken as far as it could go.

Such a strong, truly fantastic collection, it has a raw quality to it, Milan has been wonderful so faar.

I don't know why but some pics made me laugh... like really hard! :ninja: Mamut girls  But I'm currently liking Gushina's red dress.
