Prada S/S 06 Milan

The bags are fantastic! I love the way the girls are holding them as well... the trolley luggage isn't new on the international runways of course  but I quite like the idea... it just seems to distract from the clothes a bit. The clothes on themself... I am not sure yet. I think I like the 'retrospective' catch about it and how that is worked out, but I do not like all pieces. Some of them are quite bad even.

I am still undecided about this collection, I need to view images to make a final decision, but I have never looked foward to a Miu Miu collection more than this season.

I have to wait for all the pics to get it. Prada FW'04 is my favorite so far and this one doesn't seem to be that good yet.

Same. I want to see better/bigger pics.

I just find this collection confusing. It looks like Prada meets last seasons Dolce and Gabbana. I hope it'll look better once I can see the whole collection.

The above photos prove that Miuccia is indeed returning to things that are truly dear to her. Dolce & Gabbana wouldn't have visors (for a Prada kind of reason anyway), I think it's just the runway.

I'm with everyone on that, maybe the venue should have remained unchanged.

what's with the baggage?...
are they launching a new luggage line or something...

yeh i was thinking that tooo... that looks sh*t on the catwalk

the sandals are ok but the bags are a bit too bulky no?
dont forget that Prada shows very few of their actuall 'hot pieces' on the runway, they use the runway as a mislead for their copiers ;)
i believe i may like this better when i see the show on style.com or something, for the time being, i see lots of this utility chic in this 'turn of the century' mood

some of this looks nice I think...some pretty dresses and nice colours. She hasn't really stuck with the embellishment-free-zone she advocated for winter has she? The leg embellishments (as thats all they can be for summer, surely) look bad I think. I need to see it all though

I'm carrying my bags the same way :woot: , especially if they are heavy (and full of papers...)
love the collection so far, not a fan of knickers, though!

these clothes have a good deal of quirk to them. I love it. So far I really like it.

Good god, I can see style.com writing raving reviews on this collection... I find it so boring and pathetic, especially with the luggage pieces... YUCK!

Did some of you notice the awful cuts on these clothes? The black blouse/highwaisted shorts look with visor...

Where and when on earth is a women going to wear that off-white, embroidered dress with black webtape halters, shown on Marina Perez? It´s obviously very expensive, yet very unflattering... I also don´t feel layering with clothes like these... it´s quirky to play around with a cocktail dress, but this one doesn´t work in a different context!

Oh dear, I really miss the simplicity of Jil Sander and Helmut Lang... Prada ultimately looks by far too busy and wannabe-designish, it really hurts me to see this ...

Agreed :flower:

I like some of the dresses  But something about the pieces bothers me and I can't quite pin point what it is :(
