Rachel had her best style last year around this time. I have only liked about one or two outfits of hers since the Met Gala. Ashley Olsen and Kate Beckinsale are beginning to replace her for the best simple candid style.

Rachel Bilson is trendy and stylish, and I don't mean it in a good way. She's always following whatever is currently "in". If it's big sunglasses, she'll be wearing big sunglasses. If it's gladiator shoes, she'll been seen walking her dog in them. Everything that's featured on runways will be seen on her in the next 2 months.

Which is why her "style" bothers me and I and don't think she deserves any accolades for her "fashion sense". Her outfits never reflect her individuality. I don't get a sense of who Rachel Bilson is from looking at her outfits, I just see, "Oh, that's the latest MJ bag she's carrying."

She isn't like Daphne Guiness or Clemence Poesy, who inhibit their own timeless spheres that sets them outside the ever changing whims of the fashion world. Fashion caters to them, not the other way around.

Perhaps Rachel puts her outfits together better than girls like Lindsay Lohan, but ultimately she's just a follower.

very well put, i agree but i think thats what makes her so popular, the fact that she wears all the current trends when they are current. shes no fashion icon but her style is very easy to get ideas from and emulate
