S/S 2015 Campaign Wishlist & Model Casting Discussion, Guesses and Reactions

What? But that's ridiculous! She's got no business fronting a fashion campaign. Didnt like her last Versace campaign. At least Gaga made sense, she's got ties to fashion.

LMFAO!

Madonna's fashion cred goes back over 30 years. Do the research.

^^I can't with so much dignity. I was obviously kidding. I love Karl as a person and he's way older than her so please stop with the ageism and misogyny speech.

She's no longer relevant to the world of fashion. Like or not, that's it. The 90's are loooong gone. Get over it.

Not relevant to you. That's it.
Fashion has a different opinion.

And no, you weren't obviously kidding.

Mepps, what we're trying to say is that she's not relevant to the contemporary fashion scene. When last have you seen a Madonna look that was unanimously embraced. The MET, two/three years ago? Otherwise I'm forever seeing her in Ed Hardy gear and gloves. And lets not have any of that 65yo stuff, we all know she'll be airbrushed to oblivion!

Madonna is a great star, and like I said, her connection to fashion runs deep. She's not a starlet, in need of validation. She can get on the cover of any magazine on the planet. That's a fact.

Everyone on every cover, and in every editorial is airbrushed to oblivion. Whether they're 20 or 56. Madonna is no exception, and looks amazing regardless.

^Yes, thanks to photoshop.
She's an icon, a star and I truly love her and admire her, but just not for this youthful Versace collection. I hope is not true.

Madonna is not relevant anymore anyway. She's been passed left and right by the new stars and we have not heard from her in ages.
Mert & Marcus love her, that we know (probably because she was once Meisel's muse) so they give her campaigns and covers.

However, she'll probably just front an accessories campaign, like Gaga last year and January Jones back in 2011.

Really hope Madonna's not modeling the skirts:shock: And hopefully the retouching won't be as bad it was with Lady Gaga!

Trust me, it will be.

^LOL  They should just draw a picture of her instead of shooting her. It would be cheaper & less time consuming.

Oh no! Will she be getting the main line, or accessories? Why even bother shooting her if the unretouched pics always surface?

Anna & Sasha for Etro, Karlie for Jason Wu, Sigrid for La Perla….can we please continue the trend of established models booking campaigns? I don't want another socialite dominated season, please!

^Yes please. This is 2009 again, which I love, that was a great season.

It doesn't any worse than this.

Many celebrities: Madonna, Nicki, Julia...
Many VS/commercial models: Adriana, Izabel, Rosie, Kendall...
Many 'same old, same old' models: Gisele (and I love her), Karolina, Isabeli, Naomi...

And too much M&M and Testino.
