And it's such a relief to see an African American woman in Africa with happy smiling people, instead of some white model in some insulting situation of posing amongst extreme poverty in designer duds or in some cliche love story with an African tribal man.

That's just the culture of the internet these days. If it feeds into the current agenda, it is above constructive or aesthetic criticism of any kind.
I'm sure I'll get torn to pieces with this comment....which exactly proves my point.
