I love it! I love the Gianni-ness, the incredible nineties vibe it carries...the shoes are awesome, the pallet is good, the eveningwear is great and the silver dress on Tanya D is to die for. Another great collection from Donatella...if someone told me two years ago I'd say that now, I would have laughed out loud!
am i the only one who doesnt like this collection at all??!!
there's nothing "to die for" about it & the dresses are pretty boring & already done before.
As with so many here..the back of Stam's dress is absolute perfection!!! And I especially love the white coat in post #23 and the last pair of shoes in post #137 and the trousers with the large flaps at the waist.
Gorgeous stuff! ... except the cookie monster monstrosity. I feel like sneezing just looking at it.
The eyes are great but I don't like the corpse lips.
Not bad, not bad at all. I'm not a Versace girl by any stretch of the imagination, and there are definitely some pieces I dislike, but there are some I love too. I love the fabrics that have a slight sheen instead of straight in-your-face shine and the colors--I'm always a fan of black, white, and grey, but the splashes of really bold color made it a little more interesting. The "trash" factor was pleasantly absent, too. This is the kind of futuristic vibe I can actually get behind.
Overall it's very beautiful. It's nothing new, but sometimes when something is done beautifully, it just doesn't matter that you've seen it before.
Love the daywear, with the exception of a few looks, but opening with a skirt suit was a smart move. A lot of the coats are gorgeous too, but that green one bothered me...not because I didn't like the color, but because it was out of nowhere.
Some of the coats are nice! But I don't really like the whole Bonnie and Clyde-like styling I can appreciate some of the dresses too, but I would never dream of wearing them. All in all I don't think I'll ever be a Versace girl. Pretty, strong collection though and not very tacky. Good job Donatella, seems like she's on a roll.
