Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2025

Ok, friends… I’m going to ask a big favor out of any one of you.

I’m going to have a full shift to work on the 15th, so I will be unavailable to cover the segments live like I did last year. Therefore… I need a member who’s 1) capable of IDing models as they appear in segments based on the casting list, 2) capable of IDing music as it’s being played/performed in segments (Shazam exists!! No harm in using all the resources you need to), and 3) proficient in using the text editor (changing fonts + text colors, creating lists, putting text within a quote) to step in and help in editing the first post of this thread live as the show is being streamed. You must be available to watch the show live on the 15th and simultaneously have another window/monitor/device open to access this website & edit the post accordingly, in real time. You’ll be granted editing permissions on the morning of the 15th.

For reference, here is how I formatted the segments for last year’s show. I highly advise not using any black text this year… so to accommodate for those using dark mode - apart from that, formatting can remain as consistent or as unique as need be (whatever’s most fit for you!). If anyone is interested, please feel free to shoot me a message. You’ll greatly be of help not only to me, but to the many who’ll be tuning into this thread live on the date of the show <3

I will never understand this.. I feel like she pays to get featured in these shows, I can’t imagine someone being a fan, she was never the star of this show like Adriana or Gisele, never had a solid place in high fashion.. I don’t know. They could give this to someone someone either new or with a more relevant presence in fashion.

I’m kind of just excited for the new model trio (Mia, Stella and Angelina- assuming they’re there!) and for Bella and Imaan.

maybe there isnt any spot left? if they did accept her I think VS may have to remove one of the models who auditioned. not sure though

Well she is definitely a VS legend! Ale has been the most requested model on the brand's Instagram and her announcement video already has more comments than any other model announced before and even more than the oficial announcement video from this year's show.

Bianca posting that leaves a sour taste. Basically guilt shaming them. It would be great to see her walk and especially with her condition. But reading how she did it just last week, girl you should have done it sooner and probably through your agents. I’m sure VS would love to tap into that (well they should, a couple years ago I mentioned to help rebrand, doing more to highlight the health of women’s breasts would fly beautifully). Obviously VS could have been quick and throw her on in any outfit (they still can) but if you want a whole narrative about it, don’t do it the week before and have your agency push it more.

You're kidding right? While she never had the spotlight on the show that she deserved IMO, she was a powerhouse for the VS brand. She appeared on more catalogue covers than any other model in their history and for their peak years of 2006-2008 she shot nearly every day for the brand. She's had solo commercials, solo product launches, worn the Fantasy Bra twice, and this will be her 19th show. When she blew that first kiss on the runway as VS Santa in 2005 she became an absolute star and her charisma on the runway is undeniable.

You may not like her, but for all of us that grew up with the brand she's iconic.

I hope the wings are better than what they posted in that promo vid and if they are going to reuse some, bring back Karolinas and Adriana’s from 2003 (hell Karolina too), Alessandra’s from 2006, Candice’s gold from 2014, Lindsay and Miranda’s from 2012, classic-ish wings that can go in the show but have some movement and interesting shape, not some rigid piece of cloth.

There will, of course, still be the famous Victoria’s Secret wings, though Selman does mention that “designing wings was not only my bucket list of things.” He has some experience in this department, though, having designed a set of wings for the Miss Universe pageant, and of course, all his years making fantastical looks as a costume designer. But there will be one difference from past shows when it comes to the angelic accessories: “We’re not using feathers,” Selman says. “So that’s a whole different challenge in itself. Because nothing is as weightless as a feather, but nothing is more beautiful than not having to kill a bird.”
