i really don't understand what they think on when they choose a model.
of course they'll ruin all emanuela possible career in the fashion business..and not because vs is not good, but because she's going to do it for the rest of her life

Emanuela can thank god to be in VS. she´s such a vulgar model & so unattractive!

Is it even confirmed that Emanuela will be an Angel? It seems pretty weird if they'd sign her on before she walked the show, and I thought her performance was pretty forgettable.

Marisa never did a versace show. As far as I know all the runway she does in her career was miami and ny swimsuits.

Marisa is a swimsuit model & always was, she basically only worked for Sports Illustrated in her career.

I'm not sure I understand this so if I am wrong, definitely clear it up for me. I was under the impression that the only Angels who didn't do runway before VS were Selita and possibly Marisa, but I think Marisa even did a Versace show, at least that was what someone had told me before.

Adriana, Ale, Heidi, Doutzen, Karolina, Miranda all have done runway before they became Angels.

Or do you just mean the girls who aren't Angels?

Also, for anyone who saw the show more than once, did your feelings change on it? I'm still conflicted.

Selita, Izabel, Marisa and now Emanuella. That's 4 girls out of the veterens, that's quite a lot.

Miranda only had one show before she was signed (but at least she had loads of print work with them). Doutzen was in two before her contract.

i don't like emanuela so much and yes she is lucky to be catched by them in a sense.. but to do it all the life is very bad. remember she is not high fashion for sure, but she is working alot in her country..
yes i didn't even noticed her in this year show.. but when i see her in every brazilian swimsuit runway show, i can say: yes she can do VS

do you have any idea how much money she earns with VS & how much money she earns by doing those brazillian shows?
she still can attend to fashion shows, one thing does not exclude the other! you can´t say that she will do VS forever & you never know because VS suddently can open their eyes & when her contract is over, she goes away...

Adriana did 1 fashion show before being signed as an angel she walked in 1999 and was signed to be an angel in 2000 but had been doing print for them since 1998

Alessandra did 3 shows before becoming an angel she walked in 2000 and was signed to be an angel in 2004 but had been doing print since 2001.

Karolina (even though she's not really an angel anymore) did 3 shows before getting signed she started walking for them in 2000, and was an angel in early 2005. But she's done print for them since 2000.

Selita had done a little bit of print for them in 2004 and 2005 before being signed her first year walking the runway in late 2005

Miranda has been doing print for them since about 2005, and her first runway was in 2006 and she became an angel in late 2007.

Marisa well she has been doing print for them since 2002, and she just had her first fashion show for them last year and was an angel since early this year.

Doutzen was doing print for them since 2004 and started walking for them in 2005, and she only recently became an angel...

So really only Selita is the one that didn't do a fashion show before she became an angel.

I haven't seen anything she's done that is vulgar and was it officially confirmed she is an Angel outside of speculation? Or is this like the Behati thing where she is or isn't an Angel and no one was sure. IMO, as much as she has become one of my favorites, she seemed to be overshadowed by some of the other girls and I didn't really care for her outfits.

As for the Angels, I think there are too many.

Omg...I mean...she´s vulgar because she´s a average model, when there´s millions of girls MUCH better looking than her, she´s not much attractive at all, she just has a good body!

Marisa did NOT do Versace shows, I already said that in this thread But she did have her fair share of shows altho not as many or super HF.

I watched the show twice and I still think its way better then 2007 but doesnt top 2005.

Only someone who doesnt know much about Marisa can say 'all she did was SI' But whatever, posts speak for those who posts them much better then their words.lol

Anyway I agree with anyone and everyone who says the editing was BS, it totally was, the worst is when flavia's walking in the dangerous segment, one second she's just out on the runn way, the next she's at the end and it's all slow-mo.

Yeah editing is bad. The camera was too scattered, chaotic, first this models face then another second another models legs...gosh...It was messed up. And 4 models on the runway at a time is just too many.

Yeah Emanuela is neither extremely stunning nor a standout. Her performance was very forgettable...If VS makes her an angel sometime, that will be a bad move. If they want diversity there are many other stunning models out there...Oh and Im still for a hot redhead as an angel !!!

I have to agree on the slow motion editing, I didn't care for it too much. I was disappointed with the music as well but all in all, I'd give it a 6 out of 10.

I sort of wish they would have spent more time on the Fantasy Bra and let Adriana talk about it but oh well. I think this was the shortest fashion show from them I've seen. Maybe next year it will be better.

Just to break up all the um...bickering? I come bearing more pictures. I screencapped the entire show from the 1.4GB HD capture, yay!

All in all, 2116 screencaps, all 1300x740 pixels in size. When I say 'entire show', I mean every runway and backstage snippet. I skipped over the audience, pink carpet celebs, Usher, and the designer clip. There's loads of pictures of all the girls, and some really nice backstage shots as well that I didn't even notice when I watched it the first time around, they flashed by so quickly!
