Well, good news, apparently the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show's ratings is going up as high as it's budget--this year it was nearly $15 million. Here's the story:

Whether it was the brief respite from the bum economy, the weak timeslot competition, or the promise of mancandy Usher driving them, viewers flocked to last night’s “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.”
The CBS special averaged a 3.6 adults 18-49 rating, according to Nielsen overnights, up 38 percent over last year’s 2.6 rating and finishing as the night’s No. 2 program.
The show won its timeslot among 18-49s and averaged 8.7 million total viewers, 1.3 million more than last year. It marked just the second time since the show’s debut in 2001 that its audience has grown year to year, after doing so in 2007 as well. The program featured a bevy of bra- and underwear-clad models as well as a performance by Usher."
That's great! I'm really proud of them.
BTW, if you haven't re-watched it and you still think the music is bad--try watching it with headphones, the music sounds so much better. I like it more now.

That's great! I'm really proud of them.

the best part IMO was Dangerous... it looked almost like a real fashion show.
Ana and Isabeli were really elegant and amazingly gorgeous.
Alessandra did the best job as an angel, i never liked her, but she reall was amazing on the runway, looked classy and not acting like in circus.
Doutzen, though she is gorgeous and love her in other shows, well, this is just not good for her. she acted like some dude, i don't know,... i just really didn't like her walk.
Selita looked like call girl.
Adriana, well, her body is amazing, her face is amazing but she needs a little less of that heart making things with hands...
Karolina looked good, like her walk.
Heidi needs to go home. and Marissa's face is scary.. like Jessica Simpson...
Flavia was good, Angela too, Carmen as usual.
Editing was all wrong and only thing worse is that most of the girls waved their hands like maaad... So it does look like circus a bit.
Everyone were talking bout Miranda, and i didn't even notice her.

I see Im the only one who actually liked the 'Whos Victoria and whats her secret' thing lol...It was cute, smth silly and fun and it didnt take that long time either so I think its was a cute idea. Not that it gave any explanations lol..but anyway.

they really shouldn t have shown marissa backstage she doesn t look good at all, she has strong features and she does remind me of jessica simpson A LOT. so not pretty

Marissa is one of the worst if not the worst model in the show, she looks like a granny compared to those young models...go to her thread & check what she did until now! yes! SI & SI & SI!

Ok I watched the show.
And it was way worst than last year, I mean WAY!
The Music completely sucked from the beggining until the end, they put old songs there...Usher sucked with his songs, and Jorge Moreno? and Chris Brown? and that old song of Robbie Williams in the final? they don´t have money to contract someone to make a decent soundtrack?
I liked that small orquestra there, but they were just part of the decoration, since they were not playing nothing!
The makeup was incredibly bad, the models got a ton of it, they just didnt get makeup on the hair & on the outfits the rest of the body was full of makeup, but this isn´t a suprise for anyone!
The Hair was ok, not bad either good.
The editing was a pure s***** with all those effects & slow motion they screwed the whole show!
The part of "Who´s Victoria?" was incredibly stupid & uncreative.
The part before the Pink segment were Behati was teaching how they should cross the runway to Lindsay, Edita & Flavia was soooo uncreative, I mean, what a hell was that? it doesn´t make any sense!
The fact that all the models were throwing kisses, jumping, dancing & shaking they ***es was increbibly bad, and people were saying that would be a classy show? where? less classy than last year´s show for sure!
The best segment of all was the Pink for sure...the sexier model was Shannan, she only had 1 look which was in the pink segment but she was sensual compared to the rest of the models.
So my conclusion is that the VS show is 100% dedicated to the celebs!
The show really sucked from the beggining until the end, & some poeple say that the show is all about of having a good time & fun watching it...well I didnt have any fun at all & I lost 42 min...
how can a label like VS with so much money can suck so much is unbelievable, isnt it?
VS! try again next year!

Hi guys, I know i'm a bit late, but i've finally managed to download the show and gave it a good watch last night.
I would probably give it a 7/10 at the moment, because it kind of grew on me when I watched it again just now.
Then again, there are quite a few bits where there were too much interaction between the models and usher and the audience. I would probably say it was too cheesy, gave me shudders and goosebumps a few times.
IMO the first segment was probably the worst, but it's a tight call with the second one.
Other segments were pretty good I think, with Pink standing out.
Music-wise, I'm in love with the Killers song, and obviously the one by the ting tings.
Usher performed well I thought, afterall he's a great dancer and performer.
I like his songs, maybe because I've been listening to his new album for the past week
I would've loved it if they werent going back and forth between the models' entrance and their walk, it was confusing, one moment I saw so and so blew a kiss, the next moment there was this shot showing she getting ready to get on the runway. And i'm sure a few people have pointed out, they cut out too much of the actual walk. And too much backstage if you know what i mean, I am not too interested in wt the girls were doing once they got back from the runway, i wanted to see more of them rocking the catwalk.
and obviously too much hand waving, Anne V during the first segment scared me for a start.

I was kind of looking forward to see Abbey Lee, but gosh did she disappoint, she doesn't fit in at all! Even for pink she seems too young...
And Lara, she's better off just being her usual self rather than attempting to blow a kiss.

^yeahaha I notice also vs usually always does a closeup of her face and not her face+ body at the end .. I guess they dont really like her body?
I'm so dissapointed with Edita.. she got so little airtime and she was the most beautiful by far.. :\
Candice was SOO HOOTT
and marnya OMGGG ! did anyone see her wink and her butt slap? SO hot! Future angel.. imho

Edita, Candice and Maryna were definitely my favourite of the show, and SO disappointed at the lack of airtime
Maryna's butt slap was great, at least it's something different from pointing and waving

There isnt much to say about Candice really, as you said, HOT!
I thought this definetly was the best show of the last couple of years...the production was a lot simpler and the lingerie actually managed to look like lingerie instead of costumes. There was also a bigger focus on what actually happens on the runway and not behind it. Last year all you saw was backstage during a segment and now it was more runway. Also that idiot producer's voice was cut back a lot, but still present alas. Luckily there was also waaaay less pointing and arm throwing compared to last year...but Adriana, what the hell was she doing with her finger when she came to escort Usher off of the runway? Awful!
Modelwise, I think I am the only one who appreciated Lara in the show She's just so raw and erotic, a welcome change from the polished Alessandras and smileyfaced Heidis. Anne V is hot hot hot, loved her...Maryna was great as well. And Sessilee, man! What a pleasant surprise, she did an amazing job! I wanted to see more Morgane and especially more Arlenis...her walk and runway presence during S/S 09 was very much below par but it looks like she took some lessons and remembered them very well! She did great...also, did you notice how Kanye stood up for her? Yes, for her, not Selita

Indeed, Candice is pretty hot, but she knows how to walk, unlike Marisa, who imo is the hottest of all but did not do well opening that segment, I'll let it go because she's really hot.

i guess the only reason she is not my top favourite is just because all she does is vs, and i hardly check out her vs stuff anymore

I disagree...I think it was the worst VS show from the last few years for many reasons.
Less pointing and arm throwing than last year´s? oh really? I saw much more than that this year.
Yes they captured more runway in the segments than the last year´s but with that slow motion effect everytime a model were posing was awful, all the show editing was really bad.
Lara is sensual & has maybe the best body of all the models that attended to the show, but she looked like she wanted to kill somebody, a very agressive look, so I didn´t like her there at all.
And I agree about Marisa, she was the worst model this year´s & last year´s show. I mean is understandable that she doesn´t know how to walk, she´s not even a runway model, she basically only did SI in her life. And she´s so unattractive.
