Vogue Italia April 2012 : Night Of Nights by Steven Meisel

I think this is gorgeous, but maybe that's because I'm a huge fan of the three models pictured ^_^

I've watched too many movies, because with the masks and all, I thought it was going to be some horror theme, with teenagers having the time of their life, until death turns up at the party.

Now this concept would have me picking up a copy

She is look Alexandre Herchcovitch??

Ohhhh Thairine!
Very good surprise!
And I like the cover... it is very Vogue Italia style.

I'm curious to see the eds.. I'm hoping for something genius now, because that would be the only way to compensate for releasing those awful gifs.

I'm really liking what I've seen so far. Can't wait to see the full ed, looks exciting.

If someone has purchased it, I would love to see some scans or snapshots! :flower:

I prefer when Meisel goes very literal with inspirations, I would've loved to see him play with the whole Prom theme ( supermodels fighting for the Prom Queen crown would've been priceless). But I like what've seen so far. He always knows how to deliver when it comes to youth decadent and I find very intriguing the satire touch given by the masks and the bored faces of the models. Can't wait to see the full ed.

Steven Meisel is beyond failure. Period.

Would someone kindly post the full editorial so we can end the speculations?!?

I just looked at the previews, and I'm just wondering how Meisel could put such a promising girl like Josefien in the layout, but not the cover? She's so much better than these other 3 girls!!! Ugh. Whatever, the whole thing looks boring anyways.

I usually don't like Steve Hiett's eds but that's an exception. It looks a lot better with neater background. Thanks for the pics, visualoptimism.

Steve Hietts oblique angles date the issue in a big way for me. Whenever I see his photos I'm transported back to the late 90s.
