I can't say i'm not happy cause the cover is beautiful and well done... but Lara again... i mean i love her, she's a great model and so on... but that is becoming ridiculous.

It's Lara's 7th Vogue Paris cover already, in 4 years. And not the last I guess, if she continues like this, she can become top VP cover-girl (Kate Moss at the moment has biggest amount of VP covers).

lara and daria, imo, have the best covers in recent years. they are consistently produced top notched covers, one after the other. i love daria's covers with meisel in her early vogue italia days.

I appreciate that Alt's focus is on beautiful clothes. Also liking shoots outside on location. Makes things more desirable when you can picture them being worn on the streets. At least that's what gets me going.

Gisele has only had one cover in the past few years. She is barely on VP and I'd like it to stay that way

I'm liking the cover but I prefer Lara's February cover.

I'm excited to see Freja's ed (even though I can't really stand her) because it seems interesting and different (?) than her usual VP eds.

I'm hoping Snejana is in it again, even for a small ed

I get all the problems people have with the cover, but generally I really like it.

I do hope they add some "new" models (ie models that haven't been featured in every issue since April) to the September issue, rather than have it just be more eds with the usual suspects.

that's a completely biased opinion.
while i agree with these girls being the top choices
there are surely girls who prove their editorial strength when
given the chance (Edita, Snejana, Querelle, Tanya, Maryna, Eniko, Alana, Olga, Magdalena, and the list can go on...)

There is absolutely no doubt that there are other good models out there, but i could understand the criticism if they were using models that could not deliver. And VP does use occasionally most models mentioned. Opinions about who should or shouldn't be featured are always going to be biased, but we do not live in a cultural vacuum, regardless of someone's personal taste, and some of them would not be my personal choice, those women are at the top of their game.

And saying VP uses certain models because they're at the top of the game is kind of a circular argument. The reason those models are at the top of the game is partly because they're featured regularly in the VP (or VI, VUSA, etc).

While I would love to see the cover models varied up as much as everyone else, I can't deny that I absolutely LOVE this cover. Lara looks unbelievable.

they are featured regularly bc they delivered most of the time....simple as that. i dont mind vogue paris using their regular girls but i also think that they would give new girls a chance.
