What is up with the over-saturated coloring of all the editorials, is it that bad in real life The models blend in too much with the backgrounds, there is no definition, and I find it extremely distracting when trying to study the clothes.

I'm sorry to say that I absolutely hate everything editorial in this issue. Not talking about the models, but the editorials itself, they are just below average. The main editorial,especially, it seems like I've seen it before like a hundred times and Sasha, I though her ed would save but it didnt and I adore Sasha.

I remember that Vogue Paris used to blow my mind. Now it has become a pastiche of itself.

Thankfully, the colors aren't over-saturated in print. I don't know why they always do that with the pics they publish on the Internet. It looks awful.

I like Isabeli's ed and Raquel's. Daria's shot is wonderful too.
Karmen has the exact same expression in every shot, which is a shame because the photography is beautiful.
Sasha's ed is something that has been done over and over again, and I'm really getting bored of seeing the same models in every single issue, it's not bad, but boring.-

Must admit, after having a browse through the digital copy, I can't say I'm overwhelmed. En Vogue's disappointing. Yes, I appreciate those Janice Dickinson photos being revived, but it looks incoherent. You can see Emmanuelle's act for more beauty features inside the issue too. Issue after issue, I find myself disliking the new fonts. Everything feels so spaced out, very minimal.. almost too much on certain pages.

What's the point with the Miss Vogue feature? It's just a glorified En Vogue - trends every month. And now I feel ashamed for hating on Vogue Paris.

The cover is a tribute to a Vogue Italia story, one editorial looks like it comes from UK Bazaar, and some shoots wouldn't be out of place in US Elle from decades ago.

Using the same group of modern girls in editorials reminiscent of vintage Vogues and Elles feels like an attempt at taking lost aspects of those eras and trying to get them into the pages of this magazine... I've said before, sometimes I feel that the missing element that Alt is trying to recreate is maturity, the sense of being a woman. Not the sort of sophistication that comes from getting dressed up, but something that comes from within.

But does that approach work - in any compelling way? Because I can appreciate what she's doing, but in general, I'm not seduced by it, I'm not moved.

I'll certainly give it time, though. The energy of the August and September issues might give us a more galvanised version of the magazine.

It's really gutsy to pull out some of the best Janice by Reinhardt pictures for the June/July issue as everything will be measured against it. And it doesn't fail completely in my eyes. I think there is energy and a sense of excitement here.

I'm not thrilled by the cover, but it is nonetheless striking - very composed, very staged....a contrast to Sasha's editorial. I like this, I do. At least half of the magazine is great.

Very well put. Personally I think she's going at it the wrong way at it, but it's not just her. This idea that you will recapture a certain maturity by copying elements of what made a beautiful self assured woman, not a girl, in the past, instead of understanding women now days, puts me off completely.

agree with Vogue28 that En Vogue is a disappointment, to say the least. No excitement at all for me and these are the pages I eagerly wait for every month. Don't know who styled it but it lacks the Geraldine touch of wit, creativity and lust-worthy accessories I've come to expect. Poor Emmanuelle... why fix it if it ain't broke? sigh... Miss Vogue??? I can only say that Veronique Didry has a long way to go before she hits the right note for me. This is about as bland as I've ever seen in Paris Vogue.
