so you see it is a dress and it turns into a ribbon on the side
it is not a ribbon applied on top
rather the whole dress turns into it

i think it is totally something yohji yamamoto and issey miyake would want to play with... i looked through all my archives (which is a lot) but still couldn't find any samples
and i have a feeling YSL did it too, from '05 and forward
