I love it, just can't make up my mind. Ignore the fit on the model, it should fit like the models on the runway.

Erdem dress - I love the shape and the material, but I am not sure of the patchwork thing...

^Yay, it will look great on you! :flower:

Ives927: Yay to the sweater

Thanks for the help! Just got it, can't wait to try it on.

Is it patchwork print, or really patchwork?
I kind of like it. Moderate Yay.

Zarina -I agree that it would probably look better without the patchwork, but I still quite like it so yay

Post #233 has two purses. The first purse is quite simplistic with some vintage charm. So I'll say Yay! unless you don't like some old-style chic. The second purse is very nice as well. That's a Yay! as well. If I were choosing between those two, I'd probably go with the second one.

So you're torn between three totes? Let me see if I can help. The first one is a Betseyville by Betsey Johnson (Betsey Johnson is someone whom I truly respect). It's getting a solid Yay! from me. • The second one is the first of two Dooney and Burke totes. It is a very peaceful and colorful one with all the sunflowers. I probably wouldn't go for that, but it gets a Yay! from me. • The final one is a reusable tote, worthy of eco-friendly chic. It's pretty simplistic in looks, but I'll say Yay! because it looks nice and is very useful for college. • If I had to choose, my short list is on the Betseyville by Betsey Johnson and the reusable tote from Dooney and Burke. If we're talking being in college, part of me wants to go with the reusable tote. It's just right for college, and you don't need anything really super-stylish. If you fancy style, though, go with the Betseyville by Betsey Johnson tote. At least this one can be versatile for much more than college. So that would be my short list and recommendations.

Por hommes, that vest is different. I'll actually say Yay! to this sweater (Post #245). It's very handsome in design.

Zarina, I actually like this dress. Patchwork designs haven't offended me with patchwork jeans or patchwork boots in 2002, and I'm not offended with this one. The designs on the dress are very nice and come together beautifully. I am going to say Big Yay! to this one.

That's all folks!

ives - definite yay

zarina - love the shape but the patchwork hurts my eyes. i would love the print without the patchwork soooo slight yay.

I think it would look better without the patchwork, but I still like it and I think that you could really work it :)

Thanks everyone for your replies! I think I will leave it for now - it is a pity that such beautiful material has been cut into bits and pieces.

I think the colors and patterns of the patchwork dress surprisingly come together well. It isn't like some clashing patterns deal which only Ugly Betty can pull off. I actually like that dress as a whole. Still... it's your call as to whether to get or leave the dress.

These pants - yay or nay?

I've been craving nude/pink pants in this fit since ss09 but haven't been able to find a pair that I liked and which looked nice on me. I'm hourglass-shaped so the in-style oversized cuts doesn't look good on me. Also it is not my typical style (classic/feminine/50's), but because of the bow and the colour I like them.

I would style them with a black tubetop/tanktop or a black/white striped top and tan sandals for summer. For autumn I would wear it with a crisp white shirt, a black l/s tee with a low neckline or a black blouse, a blazer and black ballerina flats or pumps.

But do you think they would fit me?
